  1. Hi there! Curious why you aren’t using the window cutouts for the partial walls rather than wasting a whole sheet of drywall when you know you’ll be cutting more than 50% of it away due to door and window openings?

  2. Looking good! Having done a ton of drywalling in my life I agree with those folks saying not to tape and mud until you get the cabin to your property. I forget what you used in the house but I used the self stick fiberglass tape which was much easier. Also, one of the best investments I ever made back in my reno days was the sander with a vacuum attachment that virtually eliminated the dust. Having followed you guys since day one I'm still waiting for Spencer to use a proper carpenter's pencil instead of a ballpoint pen. 🤣

  3. Don't act like it's the end of the world man that's just typical drywall installation… You're going to have broken corners you going to have pieces that you have to trim down. On that edge that was too wide, a jigsaw go down the edge or a good sharp razor knife snap it's gone… No biggie. Don't act like every little tiny thing is something you've got to stop and give a soliloquy for…. Drywall insulation is messy it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect. And no drywall job has ever been absolutely perfect… The stuff is way too brittle to for it to be exactly perfect…You're going to have broken corners, nicks and scratches and that's just part of it that's why you have mud. You're so much of a perfectionist that you get yourself into trouble because you overthink every little thing and nine times out of 10 I've seen your big issues fall down to tiny little mistakes you've overthought… I'm not saying this to criticize I'm telling you that's what I see… How do I know this, because I do it too.

  4. I don’t what it is about your channel, but I’ve been watching y’all for a few years. Your videos have a way of tugging at my emotions. Y’all are so beautiful to watch, the fun y’all have, how happy y’all appear. It brings me comfort, but it also serves as a reminder of what I could never have. God bless your family and thank y’all for sharing with us.

  6. Have you tried measuring from the wall and floor to the centre of your boxes then just put the drywall on with a few screws to hold it in place, then use the rotary cutter to cut out the box holes? Cut over from inside the box to the edge then move slightly to outside and cut around. I do it all the time.

  7. In my eager expectation of their “next” video” I too easily overlook or totally forget the demands of balancing – “living life”, raising a growing family, providing for an income and all the unexpected “stuff.” Pretty amazing when you consider the whole package. “Life is not a dress rehearsal!”
