Must have had 2 trucks as the one off the overpass definitely lost the front end with left steering tire completely lost. They should also have shown Furlong how a twist throttle works, he’d have it pegged in real life with some scenes.
Well what can we say James Cameron has money he always has a plan B For situation like this A little Easter egg Originally the beginning of the movie it was supposed to be added a 25-minute future war story in this movie but the studio says no it was too long James has to make a future war scene short as possible
As with almost every movie, the dirt bike sounds kept switch from 2 stroke to 4 stroke 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ When are they going to figure it out, a bike is either one or the other, never both.
No one picked up that John is obviously a mechanical genius converting that ohc honda xr motor to a 2 stroke while retaining all 4 stroke parts including the case, head and exhaust.
So the truck's roof was torn off cause it couldn't fit under the bridge? Crazy…I always thought the truck jumped at that part, hitting it's roof on the bridge
The hit that that truck took upon impact after dropping down 10-12 feet looked absolutely brutal. I can’t even imagine the cajones on the stunt driver that strapped in and said, “Yeah, I can do that.” Unsung hero’s of the entire action movie genre. With the cab over configuration that sits up so high and tilts forward for engine maintenance, it looks like it would have a ridiculously high center of gravity, though it probably has enough weight in the engine and chassis to actually maintain a lower center of gravity than it appears. So every time I see this, my gut reaction is expecting to see this thing either completely face-plant and flip over, or for the cab holds to break loose and the entire cab flip forward and hit the ground and snowplow in front of the rest of the truck. Exciting to watch? Maybe. But if either one of those happened, it clearly would have been a much shorter sequence (or a waaay longer foot chase.)
Lol I thought it's about the truck's front window broke when the truck landed but then in the next scene the window still attached 🤣 I guess everyone already know about that by now.
It looked fake as the roof came off the semi How would it have looked or what happened to the semi if they crashed 😅it for real . That’s how I would have done it
I also hate that most bikes in movies are 4 strokes that they make sound like a 2 stroke and 2 strokes sound like 4 strokes i know i am not the only one who hates this and now i hate writing strokes😂

Never saw the movie but now I realize gta san paid homage to the movie
Sooooo?😅
And as a result we got a bad ass scene.
Filmed on Plummer St just east of Balboa Blvd in the SFV.
" The truck is too high,…….yeah so?"
Darn good movie and i love that scene, there shouldve been 3 minutes of more harley riding scenes 😛 🚲
This is part of why this film is so great!
And now it's a convertable truck
Cameron had stunts crew cut the roof so it will come off easily with pyrotechnic explosive
Well what can we say
James Cameron has money he always has a plan B
For situation like this
A little Easter egg

I call bullshit

There's a person who can think on their feet😀
Scene reminds me of footage of the 11-foot-8 Bridge.
The Harley-Davidson jump too was no CGI like would be done today. It was an actual Stuntman jump 😎🙌

It was a good fit with the scene for sure. That scene blew me away first time I saw it.
Cameron doesn’t let anything stop him.

That scene was filmed literally a few blocks from where I live haha
Just like Terminator's chase in the first movie's last act.
It never stop chasing you, even if it starts to break apart.
Most action films are "turn your brain off' fun. T2 is a rare action film that transcends the genre. It should be preserved in thr library of congress
Truck is to tall
adapt to situation
Yes, I knew it’s one of the most well known scenes in the film. What kind of stupid trivia bait is this?
“Hey Cam, we have a problem.”
“Ok, i’ll have to make the scene more badass!”
Genius
James Cameron knows how to turn lemons into lemonade in situations like this.
BREAKING NEWS:
WATER. WET.
Accidentally on purpose
Well..yeah
I always liked how the trucks front right wheel snapped, after it lands into the stormdrain
And also there is conspiracy about the scene which has written 9-11 when truck hits to the pillar and it explodes. September 11 terrorist attack.
T-1000 as he sits up sharpish pushes the glass out had me cracking up as a kid i always wait for that scene and have a chuckle
Wow!
No nemesis prime got his roof ripped off 😢😢😢
It looked fake as the roof came off the semi
How would it have looked or what happened to the semi if they crashed 😅it for real . That’s how I would have done it
It's the L.A River
Ok
Whole movie is well known ❤️
Didn't know that
T -1000 is not a good driver
Awesome 😎. You sound like Kevin Conroy the OG, Arkham and BEST BATMAN. RIP Kevin Conroy
Every kid wanted a dirt bike after dat scene
