  1. the main problem with B Tier legendaries is, that you still need to book em to have them make sense, without books they are just C or D Tier

rn I have 5-6 legendaries that are just waiting for their turn to get booked and they are all A Tier champs..so yea..I would like to use someone like this but just cant..maybe in 2 years

  2. Rhazins spd is 86. Hey Ash I know this one would pretty much be just for me but here goes. I've somehow pulled 3 Grohaks. Can you make Grohak sting where I couldn't???? Challenge to ya sir

  3. Drokgul was my actual first Leggo pulled, and I actually booked him as my first Leggo. He was a hard carry support with his buffs and shield/healing for my account. And I still use him. I would like to see him buffed, but he is not the trash champion that so many say he is.

  4. I for one appreciate any content for champs that others don't think much of. Such a video might help out someone stuck on content and have the champ in question just in the vault and assume they are trash, but of course they aren't.

  5. I don't have Drokgul, so I don't have an opinion of him.

But a general observation I have, which I think applies to Drokgul, is that a kit like this should belong to an Epic Champion, not a Legendary. Then he'd be a little easier to build and maybe players would be more tempted to make use of him. As it is, though, with Legendary Books being an extremely limiting resource, players who are low/no-spend have to be judicious in their use. For me, Drokgul wouldn't make the cut.

My criticism of Plarium here is the usual one: a money grab. They make A LOT of basically AVERAGE and marginally above-average Champions, require a dozen or more books to fill out their abilities–and then call them "Legendary." Truly legendary Champions should be relatively rare in number and should not need a metric ton of books to make their abilities serviceable. They should be extremely good right out of he box, as it were. There should never be a Legendary who, when pulled, is greeted by groans and curses.

But these Champions are not here for us; they're here for Plarium to make money.

  6. @Ash. I'm a liker not lover of Drokgul. I see he has his uses, as you just showcased. However, I want to talk about a champ that you claimed in that video with @Scratch about the worst legendries in each faction, where you said that GRONJARR is "the worst legendry in the game!"

I CHALLENGE that statement! as I did in the comments of that video. I am working towards getting him but reading his kit, I see that he, like Drokgul has his uses, especially when paired with a new champ, Rathalos. Rathalos does 50% more damage to targets under HP burn and receives 25% less damage under the same conditions. Grojarr not only brings HP burn, his a1 2x hitter has a 45% chance (with sniper mastery and booked) to increase the duration of HP burns on each hit. You can literally put the HP burn on and spam his a1 to keep it up infinitely, so Rathalos can keep smacking for 50% more damage and that 25% less damage mitigation too. He also cannot be frozen, and will send the freeze back to the attacker who tried to freeze him.

Case uses for this is Frost Spider in DT (current rotation, so can be tested right now), in the arena paired with Dark Elhain against Tormin teams. Any wave content with Tormin's, Gurgoh's, Yakarl's + Rathalos or Dark Elhain, some DT waves for instance and in Santranos against the same foes when applicable. He could be used, technically, against IG but like Frost Spider, he will not land the freeze ofc but won't be frozen himself. Put him in relentless/retaliation or build him tanky and in regen/immortal sets, and give him appropriate masteries and you have, with either of those two champs, or both, an enabler for Rathalos in particular to pump out some really big damage. His a2 also has a 100% chance on a 3 turn cooldown when booked, to remove Block Debuffs, which will allow for your debuffers to land their debuffs, and the second hit a random buff, which is great for taking that attack up in CB as an example where Rathalos can do some pretty big numbers with hp burn present. He probably could be used in Hydra too, but not sure he really brings enough to the table for that, but why not give it a go though.

WILL YOU TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE? WILL YOU EAT YOUR OWN WORDS, OR WILL YOU BE VINDICATED IN CALLING GROJARR, "THE WORST LEGENDRY IN THE GAME!"

  7. Ash! I have been playing for 5 years and a low spender. I have used Drokul in 90% of my builds including Clan Boss NM. Built right he is a very solid Champ. He doesn't die easy and often has saved my teams. I have the worse luck pulling very good Champs. But, I enjoy the game and watching yours and He'll Hades videos they are great helps.
