Derek and his family go to normandy in France to check out what happened there on the 6th June 1944. They visit the D day landing beaches, pegasus bridge, Sainte-mere-eglise, the Normandy cemetery, point du hoc, the mulberry harbours and longues-sur-mer gun battery.
