  1. I hadn’t heard that Pete Brown had passed … Without his creative contributions to Cream, it would not have become the band it did. As you chaps said, some of his lyrics are timeless. R.I.P.

  2. With so many unauthorised absences, it looks like Ten Years After is very niche …

    This was a band I first heard in the Woodstock film, at the cinema – “I’m Going Home” blew my mind – I’d never heard lead guitar played so fast!

  3. A little off-topic but Leo Lyons and Chick Churchill were, as producer and keyboardist respectively, instrumental in UFO’s finest set of songs on a studio album, imho – Force It 🙂
