With two full days left before the horde, and two quests left in the tier 5 quest line, I’d like to focus today on two major objectives. The first will be to knock out those final quests for Jen so that we can start getting into those juicy tier 6 infestations. And overnight we’ll work on base construction. With a little bit of elbow grease, I think we can get the base almost completely finished in the next couple of days.

make sure you make backups for your game, i ran into a game breaking bug where i hit something with my motorcycle and got to a glitched state, killed my fps and made the animations of the game go really fast, i didnt have a backup so the world might be ruined, beware

As far as I could tell when I took a quick look at the loot in A20, what you had was a whole bunch of loot tables, each one linked to a specific set of searchable things, but each one also had a chance of linking you to another table with better/rarer stuff, so the game might decide you were going to get three items from this search, and chance might have it pull the first and third items from the first table, but for the second one hit the right probability to go and get something from a better table, and that might itself hit the chance to consult an even better table, and so on. And the rarity goes up quickly, a 1 in 6 chance of escalating to a better table would give roughly 5 in 6 items of loot from the 1st table, 1 in 6 from the 2nd table, 1 in 36 third table, 1 in 216 fourth table, 1 in 1296 fifth table etc.
I haven't had a chance to look at A21 yet, but given the number and mix of mags showing up, I suspect they've stuck magazine loot tables in front of all the other loot tables, which is pushing the chance of any of the old loot to rarer than it was in A20. The alternative is they've modded all the low end loot tables to include magazines, with a lower chance of escalating to a better table, but I suspect that's a bigger job.
TLDR: I suspect you could fairly easily mod the A21 loot tables to give something closer to A20, but at the cost of fewer mags, which would significantly slow progress. A more comprehensive change could probably give you the best of both worlds.
After you did the Karen Higashi Residents quest its clear the Higashi Pharmaceutical Company is the Umbrella Corp of 7 Days to Die. They are the ones responsible for the zombie outbreak in this game. Also you'll know what will work for the name of your new dog. I had a dog named Teddy that was shepherd/chow mix and my mom named him Milo at first but it didn't seem right when it came to my stepdad. He started calling him Teddy and he responded better to that name.

You need to get & live with the puppy for a while before naming. I've found that the name tends to pick the puppy. But if you're looking for ideas I'll suggest Rocky. My Rocky lived to almost 17 ❤
Cleared this POI last night- had a screamer stalking me from the glass catwalk over the end loot- she screamed a few times before I saw her in there, could only tell she was 'nearby'. No hordes arrived and I did encounter her on my way out- she shuffled at me, I panicked missed 2 shots and got her with the 3rd shot. Impressed with the upgrades to the POI setup and your performance!

If you could somehow back light those pipes going all around your kill box then I think I love those grates over the pipes. Maybe a red or a dark green. Really make it look like Mario's worst nightmare in there!

why you dont put the trigger on your side? on all the parts that you will use to defend so you can stand on the trigger while defending, dont know if you can add 3 triggers to 1 trap, but it is better that you control by standing instead on a on/off

The security gates obstruct the pipes altogether making them hard to see ruining the pipe theme. Maybe a paint job will make them pop a little more. Or just use a different block to cover them up that offers more visibility from a distance.

enjoying the series and gotta love that stubborness to make it work despite all the pathing issues the mole zombies are giving you. Though I am curious on what timescale you run on cause you seem to get alot done at night. Nights just seem a fair bit longer. Atleast more so than the usual 20mins or so most run I think it is.
