  1. I think time stones aren't a power source, they're an ore with special temporal qualities which with the proper magic circuitry produce varying effects and what powers them is simply kinetic energy.
The skyward strike imparting much more kinetic energy then a simple strike. The fact that the master or goddess sword isn't necessary to turn on a time stone is shown in skyward sword when you use bombs and the Beetle to activate them as well.
This would also explain why the Ocarina of time activates when it's played. The wind passing through it at different frequencies produces various effects. The sealing effects of the master sword might also be connected to time bending and are activated by swinging the sword.
So it might be possible to use machinery to power portals, which we kind of see in Skyward sword with the time portal being very mechanic. those upper gears we see on the portal might actually connect to a power source like a water wheel through time itself. Say the strike from the skyward strike, activates a time stone distortion which brings back the machinery that powers the gate of time. A small hammer constantly hitting the stone would allow for that basic effect to continue indefinitely with probably a way to interrupt the effect and close the gate.

(some of this I came up with right now, some I have had for a while like the kinetic nature of time stone, I commented this because the images of the gate sparked the desire)

  3. I don't think Gannondorf was actually able to make a wish. The triforce has three characteristics: weapon for mortals to be able to stand against the gods, symbol of the balance created between the three golden goddesses and Cornerstone upon which the foundation of the world is built.
So I think the first two apply to Zelda as the mortal form of Hylia and Gannondorf as the mortal form of demise and other then that the second one specifically effects all Zora, Gorons, Rito, Gerudo, humans, Hylians etc who attempt to use it. They must embody the symbolism of the Triforce itself or the Triforce will split rather then fulfil their desire. It is also very monkey paw like in that it will use the least amount of power possible to accomplish the task wished.
There are very few times the Triforce has been used in the series:
-Windwaker, The king of Hyrule wished for Link and Zelda to abandon hyrule and move forward so it flooded the remnants of the kingdom forcing them to move on from the past.
-A link between worlds: Link and Zelda pray for it to fix the Triforce of Lorule so it does exactly that. While Hilda's ancestors broke it, the circumstances are never shown other then saying it brought war and they did so to stop war.
-The Adventure of Link: the king of Hyrule used it to maintain peace, basically he had a MOAB. This is where the quote about it being for evil or good comes into play.
-A link to the past: Link uses it to resurrect the dead and undo all the physical changes to the kingdom brought by Gannon and the open of portals across Hyrule. You see the clearly dead at the beginning king, "mortally wounded" i.e. dies Uncle, the teen who turned into a tree etc perfectly fine.
-After causing an unseen Zelda to fall into an unending slumber her brother split it into three is mentioned in one game.
-Skyward sword, probably the most hilarious use of the Triforce: destroy demise… so it just turns off the magic holding a piece of Skyloft afloat and crushes him in his sealed form….

Now I think that the times it split it didn't actually grant a wish and the people it merged with gained a boost in power not from a wish but just by housing one or more pieces. two pieces also don't seem to give more power then one. For example I didn't say that Gannondorf used it in Ocarina of Time because I think all he did was split it accidentally by trying to use it. He then reformed it in the downfall timeline but still failed to use it other then siphoning off magic and slowly opening the portal in an attempt to escape the sealed golden realm which was twisted by his proximity to the Triforce.

I think this is because if the individual isn't balanced in the three virtues of Hyrule, unless someone has equally high levels of Courage, Wisdom and Power all they will do is absorb the third they have the most of and the other two pieces will hide in the individual who most represents that part in the world or break into even smaller parts if no such individual exists.

Likewise I don't think Zelda or Gannondorf can use it at all, I think their connection to gods makes them not the intended user and hence no matter what they can't use it or this could also be because of which is their godly path and Link might at this point be a God in the Buddhist or Taoist fashion of self perfection but he has a better path then them. Demise gives Gannondorf Power, but this stops him from ever gathering Courage since he never encounters insurmountable odds. Even the more introspective i.e. Wise Gannondorfs lack Courage. At the same time Courage is 3 parts Foolishness, which Zelda seems to be incapable of being. She almost never comes into danger even when she has been trained for it like in Ocarina of Time and never grows her martial might due to little to no battle experience with very few examples of this not being the case. It is suggested a few times that she inherits knowledge along with the awakening of her goddess powers so chances are she can't ever change this.

Only mortals who are in balance can use the Triforce for a wish

  4. Love your voice it sounds so calming and also so wise on the subject matter. Twilight Princess Is my favorite. It's a shame to know you couldn't come up with a theory about the light arrows and the silver arrows though. It's scratching my BRAINS thinking about it lol šŸ˜†

  5. Did I use this twice last night? Yes.
Is this the smartest title for the algorithm? Absolutely.
Despite using this for sleep, I still got upset about falling asleep around the same part. Now I'm just gonna have to listen to the back end while I wait for baby to wake up.

  6. I truly have a feeling that the Zonai are the Twili or ancestors of the Twili. In my mind seeing that mural with the character with ears makes me feel like that is a Twili who came to the realm of Hyrule along with the islands in the sky brought forth by Twilight Ganondorf whom I believe is the Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom.

  7. I am curious as to what the leaks pertain to. All I see is people saying don't talk about them. But could someone tell me what they are in the vaguest way possible? šŸ˜… Is it character art, location details, script stuff, or the ending detailed out with the full pomp and circumstance? I'm genuinely not trying to find out what the spoilers are, I'm just curious which dept they're in

  8. Woah, I just had a wild idea. Nobody knows where Lord Jabu Jabu went in OoT, what if he was an adolescent leviathan and he achieved maturity while Link was stuck in the sacred realm? Lol with a giant leap you could even say that he dreamed up Termina, maybe explaining MM too.

  9. I played this as I fell asleep and started confusing Zelda with reality I went into Lord Jabu Jabus belly and explored the divine beasts and it all felt real and life like Iā€™m severely sleep deprived what is happening

  10. I think BotW takes place after a convergence. Either a literal dimensional convergence with all the timelines forcibly becoming one or so far in the future that everything that could have happened has have happened.

For example the twilight hero, break it down into variables:
    -Hyrulian knights lack courage
-Seers lock Gannondorf in Twilight after a war which killed the previous Link (very similar to A link to the past's back story or windwaker)
-New incarnation of Link is born into one of his branch families of little importance so far from Hyrule castle when the initial attack happens
-Lack of knights or Link leads to Hyrule falling to the incursion from twilight.

This is a story that can literally happen at any time in the storyline, the only connection to OoT is the ghost of the last Link and that is tenuous at best, any Link who dies before fulfilling their role can fit this role if the enemy was at least on the edge of defeat and this goes equally for A link to the past and Wind Waker, they all start with the previous Link failing, ultimately he's mortal and this will happen every so often.

  11. In twilight princess it is suggested that the mirror of twilight is keyed to the leader of the Twili's power. This could mean that Midna basically ordered the mirror to self-destruct and it wasn't really her power. Now this is where I think Soul comes into play in the series, alongside things like Link's reincarnations. Why did she have the authority? bloodline? after untold generations that would probably make all the Twili capable of it Zant included so that makes no sense. It would make more sense if it was via intention of the Twili themselves. They chose Midna as their ruler and hence she has their collective authority.
