Since your journey to Greece came to end i would like to let you know that there were even more places such as Nafplio Monemvasia Zagori Meteora Delphi Crete Rhodes Corfu so many more islands and villages to amaze you.. Zakynthos was a good way to end this trip though 😉👍

What a island to travel to and enjoy all by yourself . Harriet and I have to get there before the ship washes away into the ocean. The Islands are on our radar screen for an October visit.

Not been there since the 90s. Remember climbing over the wreck after a long swim from a tour boat. Just about drowned from the hangover, lol. Not much left when compared to then xx

The stress is on the first syllable: ZAkynthos. But you may also hear the form ZaKYnthou, which is the genitive case. Here, the stress is on the second syllable. 🙂
We've been to zakynthos about 4 times, as well as halkidiki, lefkada, kos, skiathos, kefalonia etc and I still love zakynthos, I think it often gets left out of the equation when it comes to people's choice of Greek Islands, its still a beautiful island, as are all of Greek islands
How much for the tourguide for the whole day?
is the water cold in Nov? i was in Mykonos in late Oct and it was cold, not swimmable.
The beach truly had a heavenly beauty that no one could compare to. Also Violent Shipwreck makes the place more exciting with its cool look.
So you can only get to the beach by boat is that correct
