WW2 May 19, 1940 Winston Churchill makes his first Broadcast / wartime speech as Prime Minister to the British People as Nazi Germany is taking over Europe and France is feeling the heavy weight and fury of the german attack During the battle of France. The Military situation in Europe is near catastrophic. Churchill Stands Firm and states that the United Kingdom will never surrender and rather go down fighting than be enslaved to Germany. His Famous speech concludes with a quotation from the Apocrypha, which supplies the phrase by which the speech became known:
“Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar. As the Will of God is in Heaven, even so let it be”

I Decided to try and recreate a historical Ambience based on this time period during WW2. All the sounds and musical themes and textures have been recorded produced mixed and arranged by myself, the speeches and radio broadcasts used in my ambience are freely available in the public domain.
This ambience starts with a brief German propaganda radio audio clip before cutting out and moving straight into Winston Churchills “Be Ye Men of Valour” speech. The speech has been shortened for time, and is accompanied by dark cinematic textures. The video then fast forwards to a wartime American radio broadcast of the London Blitz which was a German bombing campaign against the United Kingdom, in 1940 and 1941. The video continues with the ambience of the Churchill War rooms & specifically the map room which is were the most important strategic decisions of the war were planned. It was in this room that Churchill spent the entirety of D-Day

Good ambience video, but that Churchill prick destroyed the British Empire and caused the death of over 55 million people, just to force Germany back on the International Banking System.
