  1. Boeing will remain the number 1 in widebodies. More customers AND 2 plane models. My question is about the B777X. EMIRATES is the largest customer of that model. The challenge for Boeing will be to be profitable with it. Anyway, the A350-1000 has an issue with the reliability of the engines. Especially in hot, dry and sandy conditions. Like the middle-east environnement. Airbus must be frustrated with the lastest EMIRATES order. They planned to share the cake between Boeing and Airbus. But because of the engines issues. Tim Clark chose only the B777X…we will see how future orders will look like

  2. Given the comments made by STC has clearly stated that the A380 is going to remain in the fleet. There’s nothing in the World to compare with the A380 whether you’re in First, Business, Premium or Economy. The service level given by EK staff reinforces this.

What also matters is the connection with FlyDubai and their fleet especially with them ordering the 787-9. They may take on the routes that perhaps EK doesn’t operate or that FD will make more logical business sense on.

I’m not really sure what the UAE MB-339 display team has to do with this particular video but hey it’s DJA and nothing makes sense. I’m just worrying now if the DJA unluckyness will affect EK.

  3. First time viewer !! Emirates has and will continue to be an "AMAZING" airline !! The A-380 workhorse is in a class by itself!! I was fortunate to travel from Toronto to Dubai every 30 days (in first class) for 5 years. The employees and flight staff were nothing short of "AMAZING"!! There facilities (lounges and service") were "head and shoulders above their competition!! Truly an all round "super consumer experience!! Thanks for the great video!! Greetings from Canada!! GIDDYUP!!

  4. No other aircraft in the future is going to be able to compare to the experience of flying on a 380 and Emirates know that by potentially keeping some of the 380 fleet operating late into the 2030s, the 350,777 and the 787 will certainly offer new route options but not in the style and standards that the 380 offers
