Best Wolverine comic in a decade. I’ve been a Maverick fan since his first appearance and it was good to see them buddies again. Also loved Omega Red as a Wolverine villain and it’s fun seeing him become a major player in X storylines.
Things in Marvel are far different from when Doc Strange banished vampirism from the Earth. It’s an epidemic again and now there are good vampires to consider. I always enjoyed the horror titles of old so I’m all for it. It’s a perfect set-up for a decent Midnight Sons revival.
We have vampire hunters. Moonknight, Tigra, Bloodstone, Werewolf, Morbius, Blade, Blade’s daughter, and Ghost Rider are sensible characters to pull together plus the Night Guard lady and Wolverine. It’s more sensible than the last incarnation they offered. My eyes rolled hard.

AN ALTERNATE VERSION OF (WOLVERINE) I IMAGINE COULD EXIST IN THE MULTIVERSE:
I imagine in a different realm, there is a version of LOGAN aka Wolverine, who is born with an extra ability, it is a magical one, and that is to have super defenses against any type of evil-magic.
To add powerful defense against any type of evil monsters, and against any type of evil entities.
Plus to add protection against getting possessed by any type of evil entities.
From being able to fight off being possessed by demons, to being able to overcome evil-magic being used on him by evil monsters, like that of Dracula.
In addition to overcoming the evil-magic virus of being turned into a vampire, and defense against unholy dark-magic being used by evil entities.
Plus to add I imagine that Wolverine’s blood can be used for a special magic potion, and that potion is capable of curing almost anyone who has been turned into a vampire.
But it depends on how long that person has lived as a vampire, if that person has been a vampire for more than 160 years, and then it might not work on them.
The way I imagine how LOGAN is born with this magic ability, is because his biological mother was the last descendant of a rare tribe, a tribe the is born with very special magic, and this magic is called (Holy Sorcery) a special type of light-magic.
Plus to add this Light-Magic is the only one that is powerful enough to fight against any type of known evil, and to fight against any type of evil-magic.
So there for (JAMES HOWLET) aka LOGAN, he was born with both the mutant ability of his biological father, and the most of the magic of his biological mother.
Now LOGAN aka Wolverine he doesn’t discover the info. about his mother’s family-tree, until about four or six years later, after he meets a sorceress who is a student of the Ancient-One, and she carefully convinces him to follow her.
To add I imagine that she guides him to where her master is at, and that he has secret knowledge to reveal to him about his mother.
In addition I imagine that LOGAN he spends eight years at the hidden temple, learning about what he was interested in wanting to know about his mother, about her family-tree, and about the secret magical power each generation was born with.
Plus to add discovering his own magic powers, along with learning how to use it, how to enhance the strength of it, and eventually mastering using each of his magic abilities, and to add a few more ways to use it.
