Kharn was respected by his peers who were well known in their own right he was part of the War Hounds the 12th Legion a centurion later becoming the captain of the 8th Assult company, so many accomplishments yet still weak to his desires to his belief that he could find a Father in Angron which later consumed him and the Legion into a death spiral of no return.

The imperial guard and navy didn't exist at this time in the form it does now. Back then they were both joined and called the imperial army with generals not only in command of the troops but also the ships that transported them so if one commander turns then so did his army and fleet. It was changed after the heresy to make it so guard commanders need navy commanders to move them around and navy commanders need army commanders or they can't invade planets. The imperial army in the crusade despite being massive was seen as a support role and garrison troops.
Old Man is currently doing doing a series on the mistakes of the emperor and there's a video on Angron.
yes!, I love thst youtuber, you too ofc.
Best reviews there are.
Cool man, thanks for checking out my request, you got my name right, it's just Nichifor that's read as Nicky four. I've taken on a new name here anyways 😀
The imperial guard and navy in 30k didnt exist there were Auxilia troopers and standard soldiers, it was only after the horus heresy that the navy and astra militarum were split for the same reasons as the marine legions were split into chapters by roboutte, basically to deter entire legions or a single massive army from turning to chaos for example
Oh and you mentioned you wanna check out something about weapons in 40k, look no further, luetin has a series on insane 40k weapons !
The first legion are the dark Angels not the space wolfs
The first legion is the Dark Angels, with Primarch Lion'el Johnson. The first primarch found was Horus, but Leman was the second found and as a result was undisputably loyal to his Emperor, even to the point of murdering one of the lost primarchs, which I think is where he got the title of "Emperor's Executioner".
Virus bombs are a way to render a planet devoid of all life without cracking the planet or otherwise damaging it. Its basically shells that explode and release deadly contagions and acids and attack biological tissue to elimiate life. Its honestly the most brutal exterminatus the imperium uses, and probably is a similar fate to being killed by a disease of nurgle or a demon of nurgle
The 1st legion are the Dark Angels
The Space Wolves are the 6th legion
This may come as a shock but Angron even held his Brother Sanguinius Primarch of the Blood Angels in high regard even the Butchers Nails would stop causing pain whenever he thought of his brother
"Among them all Sanguinius was perhaps the most admired and respected, for he held none of his brothers lesser than himself and met each with an open warmth and goodwill that calmed even the rage of his grim brother Angron. "
-Horus Heresy book 8: Malevolence
Nice reaction. Understanding ahzek ahriman next 🥰 (there are actually two videos, the new one is better. Old one is also good tho)
angron did go back to nuceria btw
Astartes have emotions. "know no fear" is kinda a thing. but Astartes have a lot of emotion. Emotion is what drives the astartes; pride, hate, anger, even love.
All Legions had there own Language and even after the Heresy the new Chapters keept using them as Combat speech so that no one but them selves can understand them
The emporer of mankind was still a man. JUST a man. Despite his pragmatism and stoic drive he still loved his son's to a fault and getting rid of two of the primearchs must have haunted him badly. I believe he had a personal "three strikes and your out" rule and by the time angron came around he couldn't bear to kill another of his son's because it would be a complete admission of failure to himself and the humans he loved. Big E is a VERY pragmatic and cold guy sometimes but when it came to things that made him emotional he couldn't help himself but make catastrophic decisions to the detriment of his own goals. Because he was just a man.
Omg. You should check out understanding Sigismund next. It is epic. And Kharn plays a huge role in it.
Argel Tal's story is also Worth a watch, along with Alpherius!
angron didnt go back because his "brothers and sisters", the one's he swore to fight and die besides, were gone, there was nothing left for him there, that is until the heresy
