  1. I think the CPI will come in soft @4% but the FED wants it at 2% and labor market is still holding up thus aggregate demand. So FED will pause. We already have real yields from FED funds to @2%yr.
    The FED can not cut otherwise it will raise inflation.
    Thus it will continue its pause but a hawkish pause. Thus markets will be range bound for the foreseeable future with rates stuck at the 5-5.25% FED funds level.

  2. The bleed through effect of the non crisis bank crisis hasnt shown itself. granted. Now is everything cool and can we call off the search dogs and reroute tge emergency responders? Not yet? We are not out of the woods yet. Before we start handing out certificates of recognition because we didnt bite the bullet we may want to drag our feet a little bit to the party in case there is a LAG EFFECT on the way.
