Manti Te’o talks about deciding not to play football for BYU and shares some insight into the inspirations he received to help him make his decision. Jimmy Rex and Manti dive into the details on what events and experiences took place.
My man! You know that answer is from God when its not the answer you want, but its crystal clear that’s what He wants you to do. I love our Polynesian brothers. Their faith is so strong. Kalani Sitake is the best!
Manti seems like a great guy and I loved his story about Kalani but I do feel like he was dancing around the question. I’m guessing he didn’t want to bring up his disastrous recruiting trip to BYU which I totally get.
Jimmy, the amount of value/interesting content you pump out on a consistent basis is amazing to me. You’re appreciated big time man!
Doesn’t sound like BYU was ever in the mix his answer was more why he chose ND over SC. Headline should have read why Manti chose ND.
Love Manti
clickbait title – he didn't even talk about BYU

He still didn’t answer the question
Why?! He's a smart man that's why lol
I love Kyle & Kalani, they’re best friends ❤
Too bad we missed him at BYU! Great guy all the same 👏🏾
Well he was a kid, and kids love the bright lights. BYU, while a solid program, doesn't have lights as bright as ND and USC.
He was too busy chasing his imaginary girlfriend.
Wish Manti would have gone to the Y, but hey, he heard the voice the spirit. Can't argue with that.
That was cool.
