  1. Hey Deadwood, you are so good at moderating conversations with the other creators, you should host a roundtable with 3 or 4 other CC's and just have an hour long conversation about these kinds of topics.

  2. How about mythical/accessory forge materials. Speed up the time it takes daily, monthly, yearly to get xyz, I'm not not going to give all my ideas. I feel everything is targeted to the end game, spenders/spending… greedy.
Nothing for new/beginner nothing to close the gap or keep player engagement.

  3. Great video DeadWood Jedi and JGigs.
Surprisingly I pulled 128 Ancient Shards , I got the new Ogre that looks like a World of Warcraft Orc, both Lady Annabelle, Stag Knight and on shard 128 I got Snitraak.
That kind of thing never happens to me so….. I think that I should have pulled a Primal shard or eight that day.
I don’t plan to spend in December. I am sure that Plarium will try to tempt me.

  4. tbh, I just recognized, that since even the smallest packs got so expensive I spent close to nothing anymore. The only times I spend are the 2-for-1 mini mix packs, as rarely as they appear nowadays. All the other stuff just doesn’t make any sense and tbh I couldn’t care less about fusion stuff – I have a real life and the relevance of Raid will always stay behind that. Loved the collab, thanks so much, Deadwood!

  5. How many times can Plarium spit in the faces of the people that drive their success before we stop wiping it off and thanking them for it? Everybody has their own threshold but hopefully it's not forever

  6. I'll post here what I posted recently elsewhere related,
for such a massive game there is very very little fan art, cosplayers, memes, even engagement on their twitter, fb, etc
by just treating their player base a bit better they'd gain so much

  7. My biggest worry is the new content in the game that was promised that would be bigger than Doom Tower will come too little too late. Players aren't just not spending. They're leaving the game in droves. The arrival of Watcher of Realms and Dragon Heir has opened a lot of eyes. Players vote with their wallets and their time. Many have already stopped spending. Leaving is next. Many more players will leave Raid if Plarium doesn't stick the landing with their new content. The pressure is on.

  8. Plarium have turned me into a very patient gamer.( I save Shards, energy, gems, soulstones and silver FFS ) WAIT SHADOW LEGENDS is the best quote ever! I have spent money on games in the past and will again but I refuse to spend money on Raid. I like to know what I am going to get not gamble for it with the odds against me.

  9. I don't do fusions I have a life to live… And cannot. But for doing so I have FTP smashing me in arena because they put meta champs for fusions. I barely stay in gold 3 now. And I'm a small medium spender. Don't feel good when that happens since FTP don't give nothing to the game. The more this happens the more I dont buy.

  10. In my experience spending strikes don't work. Not because they don't pay attention to the bottom line, but because the krakens never actually participate. They'll say they do, but continue spending exactly as they did before and go "gosh it's not working lul". The only thing that works is mass player quitting.

  11. Here us a list of things I would like to see changed:
    1) Increased rates for pulling legendary champions with sacred shards and void shards.
2)Rotate the champions in the Guardian Ring.
3)Give better items in the market.
4)Give more silver as rewards in every facet of the game or get rid of the cost to remove gear.
5)Reduce the odds of pulling dupe legendaries.
6)Give us a way to farm legendary tomes.
7)Remove the cap on auto battles.
8)Restructure the missions and add to them.
9)Create some dungeons where you can farm for a specific gear set and/or gear piece. Not campaign.
10)Lower the prices of the shards. $20 for a 0.01 percent chance to pull a legendary champion. CMON!

  12. I'm not sure Plarium isn't listening, they are, they're just ignoring the players because, and this is just my own opinion, the share holders are seeing competition and drops in growth, not income, but growth. So they're trying to keep investors happy and to do that, the rallying cry is MONITIZATION! I feel for the actual developers who I'm sure want to make a good game, but are being directed by accountants to MAKE MORE MONEY! Again, just my opinion.

  13. Hey sir, sometime can remind viewers that Locwain for Lady Mikage fusion is a prime gaming drop in Feb-Mar. That may help a lot of folks out working toward that fusion.

  14. Player retention is a key, DW is right, but that goes with JGigs initial idea of people not taking part in events like fusions. Think about it. There's a reason fusions are so frequent in this game and it's because people are slaves to them. Content creators are on record saying the champ for the given fusion won't help them, but "I'ma do it anyway just to have them".

This way of thinking, paired with all the spending people are doing, this is why Raid is the way it is.

  15. Im 1 year in the game. I think fusions are okay. That is the only way to get some good legionaries. My 1st legendary was Elegaius. I couldnt do anything with it. After I got my Clan Boss team set, I was able to do every fusion when im home. if Im not home, i skip it. I skipped Emic as I was on holiday. There is wall of progression in this game. It is like spend big which almost none will do or do fusions…

  16. tldr; Plarium is only a big fish in the expansive sea of predatory behaviour, rampant in the modile gaming industry. Consuming krakens, whales, and minnows alike. they wont change their business tactics, which work exactly as indended and expected, so long as they are not required to do so.

    What tactics do casino's use?

They make sure everyone sees content creators, doing shard pull videos, and showcasing the new OP champs. enticing viewers to comment on videos with offers of a few gems and shards, manipulating the youtube algorithms so as to promote the game to a wider audience.

They put opportunities in your path in the form of limited time events and pack offers. disguising sometimes terrible deals (relatively speaking) with pretty pictures and a sense of it becoming unavailable unless buy buy it right away.

They use gems and silver rather than cash

They know you won't do the mathematics of the odds for their events, and even if some content creators do the math for you. it wont make much of a difference.

They give you the illusion of control of when to pull shards to "maximize your chances" at the champs you "need"

They offer some free stuff, through in-game engagement, to keep you invested and create a sense of need.

At the end of the day Plarium, is a business.
    ultimately

    voluntarily

  17. I will not be spending for at least 3 months. Hit them in the pocket for a quarter. If they get hit hard enough, they won’t have much of a choice but to listen. Most content creators have a pretty good idea what the player base is doing or feeling.

  18. Just listening to the ranting how they just label an event having nothing to do with a Holiday. Definitely just todays is a good example. Black Friday is supposed to be when you get discounted deals, well a Deck of Fate to go along with that? ugh For me one of the worst events lol unless it is made a bit easier to rack up points to flip a card maybe but I doubt it

  19. lowered expectations… I stopped playing raid about a month ago. Thanks to watchers of realms. I still like to see the greed of paylarium has not changed. I was not free to play almost to page 3 in purchase trinkets… still drawing out that carrot and making it harder. Sigh just sell raid to moonton and they can still support the players so much better and make money too!

  20. If it weren't for the content creators, I'd have gravitated to another game by now. Plarium has sown so much bad seeds, I literally won't believe there IS a Mercy system until I see a real-time readout of what each shard has as Mercy.
