  1. Yeah, just a team of individuals basically. They brought in players with no real thought about how they’d gel. It’s great that they’ve failed 😁

EDIT: I’d let Messi and Neymar go for starters. Focus a lot less on superstars.

  2. It´s about expectations, not obligations. Mbappe and Messi have disappointed their supporters because they were obliged to deliver because their are stars. In Bayern Munich you are not obliged to do anything because you are a star, but because what you t shirt represents. To come to that PSG needs first to make a team, at that might take 2-3 years if they do right, to create the myth by winning several champions league with some legendarisk matches, that might take another 6-7 years, and then the newcomers to the club will get that feeling that players from Bayern Munich have. You need 8-10 years doing everything right. They have tried the wrong way during 11 years. And Mbappe might leave. Another year not competing well in champions can get him out.

  3. It's like the Dallas Cowboys in the U.S the owner pays a coach but does not let him o his jop ! Cowboys did it to Jimmy Johnson 35 years ago he had won about 3 super bowls but the owner Jerry Jones kept interfering so Johnson quit and Dallas have not won a bowl since !

  4. I'm tired of hearing PSG is not a team but full of individual players. Well city are a team but they haven't won it once. Madrid before Mourinho couldn't get past the round of 16 for more than 5 years. There are plenty of teams despite their talented squads who haven't won the UCL for a long time.
Nobody knows exactly the reason why PSG are failing.

  5. Having Messi is like having 10 men when you aren't in possession, it's that simple. They tried to imitate the Galacticos by buying the trophy, it doesn't work.

  6. Did I just hear this guy say they shud hire mourinho or Diego I completely disagree with that it will never work both may be good but I fear a clash of egos will result to them being sack just like tuchel. I feel like zizou would be perfect just don't understand why he isn't interested in the job.

  7. They need to work on creating three central midfielders who can defend and create 15 assists to support three stronger forwards. Even create a stronger full-back and central half, a goalkeeper who can cross the ball better into the box. And produce 1O assist or more a season with a stronger interception with a goal-clearing ability. Stronger possession control and perfect passing to teammates.

  8. Apart from Messi and Mbappe, the rest are all substandard players that played against Bayern over two legs.. Not sure why people say its a team of superstars… Ruiz, Mendes, Vitinha, Veratti, Danilo and a 50 year old Ramos.. All average..

  9. Everyone banging on about team this team that. You're forgetting that psg isn't even a team of superstars. It has three superstars, one of whom is getting old, another who has been wasteful with his talent. Then there are some very good players in the team and some very meh ones. Let's not forget that they don't have a world class coach either, which is basically a must-have if you wanna win anything nowadays

  10. All the hype for psg pre match for what they have never done anything good the greatest psg was with Pauleta and even back then they didn’t manage to win anything.

  11. PSG are average, winning a farmers league every year and then crumble against any real competition because they've never experienced it. Mid table prem team at best, Brighton and Newcastle are better than these lot. Mbappe waisting his career, can never be considered as a great player if he doesn't move to a league with competition.

  12. it feels soooooo good to see qatar saint germain and mbashit the most overrated player in football history being destroyed every SINGLE year in the champions league.

  13. There is also a cultural perspective here. Looking back at the buildup to the World Cup in Qatar, this is not a country known for having an enlightened attitude towards hired workers. Yes these players are world-class superstars,, but to their employers they are simply employees hired to do a job… and that job is to win the CL. I am positive they are baffled at this most recent outcome, but the comments presented here and the direction they are suggesting would be equally baffling.

  14. Diego Simeone maybe. But Mourinho I don’t think so. I think he will be gone before they make it into a Champions League Finals. There was a time that it was him. If they want Champions League Finals, number 1, recruitment. 2, I think Tomas Tuchel, again, or Jurgen Klopp. Remember you have to deal with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Champions League for them is a priority every season. Consistency and continuity. That’s the key. And Real Madrid and Bayern Munich has that.

  15. Most ppl look down on the Bundesliga but there at least nearly every club is capable at scoring at least once against Bayern though that might not result in winning against Bayern. PSG has the most expensive attackers in the world and in 180 (2 games) they didn't score once. Yeah, yeah Bayern is a team – but Bayern is not invincble. Again, nearly every Bundesliga team is cabable of scoring at least once against Bayern. They are NOT invicble. And if you can't score in 180 minutes with the most expensive attackers – that stat alone pretty much sums up everything wrong with PSG.
