Why Everyone Drive Me Away Poor Dog Trembles, Tearfully Begs for Help

That is Canelo, a dog with a big tumor in his head.
His story touched my heart.
In a quiet corner of a bustling Mexican neighborhood, a stray dog roamed the streets. A kind-hearted family noticed him wandering their street one day and they offered him food daily and named him Canelo. For months, they watched him, their hearts growing fonder as he became a fixture in their lives.

Two months ago, they noticed a small bump on Canelo’s face. At first, it seemed harmless. But the bump grew, rapidly and aggressively, threatening to take over his face. Alarmed, the family took to Facebook, posting pleas for help, tagging every rescue organization they could think of.

The post caught the attention of a dedicated rescue group. One look at Canelo’s picture told them everything they needed to know: he had TVT, or Transmissible Venereal Tumors. TVT, a sexually transmitted disease prevalent among unaltered street dogs in Mexico. It’s treatable with chemotherapy, but if left unchecked, it can cause a slow and painful death.

  22. Dziękuję dobrym ludziom za pomoc temu pieskowi. Pieski tak samo czują jak ludzie, tylko nam nie powiedzą. Każda pomoc dla takiego zwierzaka ze strony człowieka jest bezcenna. Samo zwierze sobie nie pomoże, dlatego powinien każdy człowiek, jeżeli widzi krzywdę jakiej doznają zwierzęta powinien im pomóc. Dziękuję tym ludziom, którzy umieją pochylić się nad losem innych ludzi, czy zwierząt. To świadczy o naszym człowieczeństwie. Więcej takich ludzi, a świat byłby lepszy.
