  2. Pharaoh was already evil before God hardened his heart. God did not cause Pharaoh to do evil. He made sure that Pharaoh did it in a way that glorified Him and His purposes rather than dithering and constantly changing his mind and the issue not getting resolved. And through it He accomplished the utter destruction of the Egypt religion as well as showing Israel His power.

Would Pharaoh have done good if God hadn't hardened His heart? Absolutely not. That is not His character. Sin does not come from Him.

  3. I think it was very clear in the scripture who hardened Pharaoh's heart and why. God hardened his heart for a purpose which he clearly stated and then unhardened is heart at the right time …the why's in which he clearly stated. I am not sure if we can explain it away.

  4. Who appointed Jesus to be high priest forever?

Psalm 110:4 Jeh ovah has sworn an oath, and he will not change his mind: “You [Jesus] are a priest forever In the manner of Mel·chizʹe·dek!”

Hebrews 5:5 So, too, the Christ did not glorify himself by becoming a high priest, but was glorified by the One who said to him: “You are my son; today I have become your father.”

  6. Daniel, you have answered a question that has lingered in my mind for a long period of time. "Why would God harden the heart of Pharaoh?" That has never made sense to me until now. Thank you.😊

  7. Very insightful video Daniel! I have video suggestion: could you make a video on different bible versions and which ones are not credible? I say this because one of my friends in church shared with me a verse in NIV Bible that was removed, and he had his bible, the King James Version, which had the verse, said verse acknowledging that Jesus is the son of God. It is unfortunate that people remove verses from the word of God. I’ve now been wondering which bible is the most correct version.

  9. Martin Luther argued that people can achieve salvation or redemption only through God, and could not choose between good and evil through their own willpower.

    Similarly, the other reformers argued.

  10. Thank you, Daniel, and DLM for this message of how Gods love can come first from the hardening of someone's heart to show his power and bring them to believe in him and know his love and promise like his son Jesus did while on this earth. I have a younger brother that lives with me that blames God for his hard life and the loss of his leg, he is also addicted to meth and I have carefully been trying to help him to hear Gods word so he can know that God loves him. I love my misguided brother, and I want Gods word to soften his heart and set him free. I pray that God's grace will help me to open his eyes and heart, but he is very angry and unforgiving.
