  1. The transition was not easy. Brock is just that dude. There is another 7th rd pick that went to miami, and he has played this year. Skylar thompson, and he does not looked as poised as Purdy.

  2. I lived in Brazil for a time. There are definitely people there that like American football. Not many, but they are there. Even some of the soccer clubs even had American football teams, see Flamengo Emperors.

  3. Well the difference with Brock Purdy is that he didn't have the quality of players in college that he has in the pros.
If the offensive player has the slightest separation on the break from a defensive player
All he needs is that small window and the ball will be there with his timing

  4. Purdy is not what everyone makes him out to be. Too much hype. Hasn’t really played any good teams. He has a lot of weapons and our defense is the best. He hasn’t been that great in the games won. I want to see what he does in the play offs. I’m team Trey all the way. Purdy is no Patrick Mahomes.

  5. Grant – I would say it is probably “simpler” for him because of how great the team is. It makes it so he only has to focus on playin qb and not lead/run the program. He can grow into it

  6. Brock carried Iowa St. four yrs. And they always scratched, win or lose Brock was slinging that ball. I saw NFL on him two yrs ago but I didn't realize who he was until he started playing. Bruh can play and they won some big games. I bet they never saw a point spread over 6 the whole time he was there. I used to take them alot on the parlay I know what's up. Our scouts are the shit

  7. Colleges like ISU have the deck stacked against them with talent disparity. In the NFL all the teams have equal opportunity to talent and human freaks of nature as their starters. It's a team sport and it is crazy seeing some really good players not make it in the NFL due to being used wrong or not having support.

Brock is in a good place and executing on a team that has the right tool at doing the right job under the right system.
