I actually took the time to go to IMDB last season to leave detailed reviews of each episode so I could scream about the piss poor writing, character breaking story arcs, killing your best characters, the ex-machina exploits of Morgan and company, duct take radiation protection, Geiger counters and sodium iodine and abundant quantities everywhere. The best thing about this season, and every single episode , was when it was over. Alicia, Alicia, Alicia. Spare me. That was one of, if not the singular story arc that made me create the account of IMDB. Radioactive fallout and anti-biotics apparently cures the zombie apocalypse.
Stop hiring writers from soap operas and hire so actual professions with experience.
The vast majority of writers for FTWD last season had 2 writing credits which were NOT genre specific. No Sci-Fi, no Horror, no comic book credits at all.

Well said! Season 8 was a hot mess. So much confusing, sloppy writing, and dumb decisions. It would have been so easy to connect Padre to the CRM stealing children and training them into soldiers to trade off to the CRM. Especially considering T.O.W.L. is coming next. But I imagine they didn't want the Fear showrunners messing up the CRM LOL

Let me start by saying that I’m an absolute idiot for watching this show. The writing was so bad, even in the first season I thought it was more stupid characters in a soap opera and it never really improved. There were moments, but I couldn’t even get thru season 5 and last season I missed 3 or 4 and didn’t care. I just kept waiting for it to get better which is the definition of insanity, I know. I was only interested in this season because I do like The Walking Dead and I thought I needed to get up to speed because, like you, I assume there will be multiple crossovers.

Fear as a whole.. some touching moments lots of missesx and wasted time and potential. Finale doesnt feel like a real series finale. More of a season finale. Tbh i could write a better ftw than the real writers. Would definitely cross it with the rick spinoff.

Ftwd had been pissing me off for a while now but Troy dying like that was the final thing I could take, I think of everything after season 3 as an alternate timeline.

I hope there is a massive crossover and FTWD is ignored completely. In my headcannon the whole show is a fever dream. It's horrendously fanfic quality dogshit I can't watch for more than 5 minutes without cringing. I wish they never wasted time with this show

Goldberg and Chambliss need to never touch anything TWD related again. They sincerely gave the finger to all the fans for 4 seasons. Minus season 6 which I still think they had to have had ghost writers for.

It’s like if TWD ended and nobody got to see Rick they all just went there separate ways. Fear needs to die,,,, then we can take Fear & World Beyond, load them into a shuttle, and send them into the sun. So NO creature has to rewatch/watch those dumpster fires EVER again…

Padre means father and madre mother in Spanish. So they started calling it Madre because she’s a female, not because her name starts with the letter M. I guess it’s obvious if you know Spanish. Anyways, this final season seemed rushed to conclude much like GOT did in their last season. Too many convenient events and many other events that just made no sense. Like when Madison and Troy were chased onto the rope bridge for the guy to cut them down then immediately get mauled by walkers. Or when Morgan on that one episode was in and out psychotic episodes but in between was fine and coherent. That was really annoying actually.
