  1. Considering half-undead already exists, for example the Dhampir (or Katane), Fetch, Gheden, Ghul, I'm surprised more of that lore isn't incorporated into his story. Certainly there's room for more.. experiments.

  2. Why do I have a feeling that, with his Bard fascination, that he is looking for that perfect horny Bard;
The one who can, and will, carry his offspring…

Probably needs a Dragonborn, at least, to succeed.
Although, it would be hillarious if it was a kobold…

  3. Does anyone know about MrRhexx's D&D experiences? I have never played D&D but understand it as a roleplaying game which you play a character however you please and try to become powerful to be able to take on huge monsters like the dragon in this video. I am curious with all of MrRhexx's knowledge about D&D what he has been able to achieve as a player. Has he reached max level with a host of followers? Has he ever played a wizard and leveled up to max casting levels? If you yourself are in fact reading this comment MrRhexx can you touch on this sometime somewhere either at the end of a video or comment here?

I wouldn't be surprised if MrRhexx has been a DM more then a player due to the fact he has spent a lot of time doing research for videos and also creating videos. He most likely has not been able to entertain much time playing a player character to max abilities. If anyone out there knows of a place where I can learn about epic character sheets and adventure campaigns that led to the destruction of monsters like Tarrasque's and Daurgothoth please let me know. I would love to know how you could even kill monsters such as these. I have heard of people using wish spells to wish a Tarrasque dead after it has been brought to minus hit points. The question is how did the players manage to get a Tarrasque to minus hit points in the first place. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

  4. Welp, time for me to make a necromancer who wants to meet Daurgothoth so he can create a white dracolich which he can bind his well & make a pact with Daurgothoth to help them experiments even if it's finding materials.

  5. Damn I really want to play a bard in Faerún now, one that always plays every year once to a mysterious stranger near Waterdeep, exchanging songs for minor magic items and knowledge, akin to the Sandman show, that experiment Morpheus has in which he meets a mortal every hundred years to see if he still wants to keep living forever.

This is what a good monster is: you listen to its story and setup, go through the statblock and lore and your mind is flooded with cool ideas on how to use him in a game.

  6. You could also Mage's Disjunction the gem. Might fail, but can be done. Sadly we don't get that spell anymore in 5E. Ultimate NO spell
Curious what books he was printed in. Sounds like something from 3.5.

  7. Poor dragon looks starved. All bones! That's so sad. You know people with anorexia might be offended by the dragons slender appearance amd life style. Dnd should really hire someone to make sure these thing don't keep finding their way into the "game".

  8. I hope you make one about Klauth as well. The Red Dragon. Together with your Iymrith video, this one and so it would make for a great preparation for any one running SKT.

  9. Fight him? Nah, G. Drink and talk with him. We're not gonna be able to kill him any time soon, so give him a reason not to kill us. Plus, he seems like an interesting dragon to have a conversation with

  10. Just saying- This guy would make a fantastic party ally. Especially if the party had a female bard on board. Picture this:

Party is sent from Waterdeep after XYZ mcguffin. In pursuit they end up shunted into a portion of Daurgothoth's home (DM's discretion on how exactly). Things are dicey here- party misbehaves and they should easily earn his ire(and functionally guaranteed TPK), but if the bard chooses to sing to lift their spirits, that would be enough to stir his interest. From there the party is herded right up to this dracolich via unending army of undead horrors. Some banter, maybe a fight where the party gets mollywhomped or, if high enough level kills one body only to come face to face with an amused new body, chuckling at their efforts. Then, to business. New party boss has their mcguffin. He's even willing to part with it…
    for a song,
    and a working relationship.

Why? Simple amusement- or perhaps some small spark of inspiration. At this point, it's not like the part can refuse anyway. Ultimately the party would never be certain what their new boss was up to. Spice it up some- they meet, fight and the party shockingly easily wins. Only to find they are immediately faced with a far stronger body. The distracted dragon spent too much time focused on his work and forgot to tend his body. This one's… fresher.(Literally) From there, Dargothoth issues quests, gives rewards and evens serves as a hub to the players, so long as the party stays loyal. But always twist something just a bit unfeeling in. Some level of disinterest in the death of someone the dragon issued a kill order on. A complete lack of care of a party member's death (unless it's the bard.) But temper it with the odd flicker of esteem and care. The party brings in a child in need of saving, and the dragon does so without hesitation or question. Ensuring the party has healing potions before venturing out. Mix those messages. Leave the party confused but hopeful.

From there? Whatever you'd like to do.

  11. Think about Daurgothoth and Iymrith working together.
The secrets of dracolichdom of Daurgothoth and the secret of transferring essence from Iymrith. Daurgothoth with the help of Iymrith could probably create with their combined magical knowledge immortal and powerful bodies.
