You asked what we'd include: stables, gardens, koi ponds, pools, topiaries, a spot for archery, badminton, etc. Also, a library, an art studio, a yarn room, movie theatre, parlor, large dining hall, art exhibit room, music room, etc. I think it's pron "Grehn-itch."
@ThisHouse When are you coming to Texas? This time of year is great with the cooler weather. If you make it to FtWorth Thistle Hill is a great start. The Edelman-McFarland is another. I can personally point out Alice Walton current private residence
Brant's consortium bought from Lewis Rosensteil, who bought it in 1936 from Converse's estate. Rosensteil was the President of Schenley Liquors. Today it is a gated community of 95 10 acre minimum lot mansions. It has its own polo field.
