we're DEAD and in SPACE!! | The Callisto Protocol

From some of the developers of Dead Space comes the Callisto Protocol! Lots of new interesting stuff here but does the game live up to the hype?

  2. It feels more like an action game more than a survival horror. Pretty much dead on what Mark said that it's giving off Dead Space 3 vibes which was the worst out of the whole series.

  3. yeah I had zero immersion in this game. I couldn't think of anything but how bad it is while I was playing it. Also I was thinking how this could never be a replacement to dead space. It is nowhere near as good as dead space. It feels washed up in every way.

  4. You really gotta try catch videos of this game early, or youtube restricts some of them, and it's always just a random one of the series from a youtuber too. 🥲

  5. Didn’t spook me, it’s got kinda like a set up for spooks in the atmosphere but not really spooky yet. Although the gore in this is pretty good, not gonna lie. They got that down pat. That one death animation with the eyes was so good! Can’t wait to see some actual scares tho!

  6. You know, I'm honestly glad I saw this before I decided to buy the game. If Mark has a top-notch uber-expensive pc that is just one tier below "literal supercomputer", and STILL has hitches and can't even record right?
Yeaaaah, no thanks. I'm not going to pay an exorbitant amount of money to get even just a medium tier graphics card only to deal with constant hitches from a AAA studio game.
Like, yeah, you can out down indie games because they don't have this extremely unnecessary level of detail in their games, but at least they actually run (and usually have better gameplay, like not dying in four hits, as well as not putting an important part of the combat tutorial after said combat)
