  1. I totally get that you’re worried about these sorts of videos being boring but I personally just find them to be so cozy and relaxing. And while I’ve been absolutely LOVING the book content, being back with one of your weekly vlogs did make me feel a little bit nostalgic. I’d definitely love it if you wanted to do a video like this once a month or so but ultimately, it is of course up to you to decide what kind of videos you’re the most in the mood for.

  2. Personally, I find all your videos super soothing and relaxing, just as you said. I am an introvert and a homebody myself, and it's hard for me to find any relatable content online. Honestly, I just love your little random talks, the vibes, and the cats, of course!

  3. Hi Jaime, long time lurker here! Honestly I really enjoy your vlogs, we kinda have a similar routine life but it's still interesting to see how people (you especially) get through their days. I'm also a reader so I truly love the book contents. Just echoing what others have said here, but a glimpse of your daily workouts, recipes, and chatting, or anything you feel like putting out is alright and will get me watching always 😊❤

  4. Tbh I admit I do miss these vlog and fitness content. I have been leaning more into fitness and dropped reading all together for the past few months. I feel like I’m progressing in strength so much so that I got a gym membership. As for reading, I think I discovered that I am sadly not a fan of fantasy romance novels. Its so strange how I used to be such a huge bookworm and now I’m struggling so hard to like any book I find. I tried so many tik tok/goodreads most popular books and some of the ones you suggested in past videos, but I had to DNF them because I didn’t enjoy forcing myself to try to like the books. It really discouraged me from reading because I wanted to like them so bad but I couldn’t. Sometimes I wonder if I just don’t like to read anymore. so I took a long break from it. However, just yesterday I picked up a book from the library for the first time in months. This one was something I got on the whim, a hole in the wall kinda book. I didn’t look into the ratings or the reviews. Im just going to try it out and see if I’ll like it. High chance I won’t based on my track record but I want to like reading again.

Im glad you found a new youtube community that you enjoy being a part of. At the end of it all, keep doing what you like to do. I don’t think your vlogs are boring because it’s relatable and realistic. I tune out most vlog channels with their luxurious lifestyles because it gives me FOMO. But I understand when you get bored of making them

  5. hi! Its a little irrelevant to the video but I saw that you’re using dji osmo pocket to film? What do you think of the camera because i’m planning to invest in it for casual video recording 😊

  6. So nice to see someone who is living the same kind of life as I do. Very authentic. I usually go into an office weekdays but otherwise a total homebody too. And I love fantasy books. My TBR has definitely grown since you changed your content 😁 Was stuck rereading a lot, so thank you for opening my eyes for new authors to try 😊

  10. Jaime I love watching your balanced comfy life. Usually I have really crazy weeks, I do too much things in my life and sometimes I lose focus and forget to relax and doing selfcare. Your videos always remeind me that I really need to give myself time to recharge and slow down a little.
Though I really enjoyed your fitness videos, you changed my life with your bookish content. Now I am obsessed with reading since your Fourth Wing and Ironflame recommendation.
I feel I've got in a wonderful new univers with books and booktube thanks to you. Since than I think I've read 15 books, currently I am reading the Throne of Glass series, and I'm loving it ❤
So I feel that I'm much more relaxed and my life getting more and more balanced thanks to reading, thanks to you ❤😌🙏

  11. I think it takes a lot of courage to be authentically you, and I love where your content is going. Your blogs are so cozy, I just snuggle up with my dog, turn on my switch and play a puzzle game while watching them. It’s the perfect way to start the week.

  12. I know that feeling of needing more flexibility in workouts. I got an injury recently, so I haven't been able to do much, but before that I was doing strength programs. The program was 3 days of strength, 2 days of mobility/yoga so there was no real room for cardio. I asked the instructor how to add cardio and she said to use the other two days! Like, when do I rest? 😀

  13. Awww please don't apologise for your life being "boring"! It's actually really comforting to see someone on youtube who is more normal, and who enjoys their routine (I swear my routine is so ingrained by this point that if someone had it timetabled in front of them they could guess with 99% accuracy what I am doing at any given moment… boring, but comforting).

The book content really suits you because of this (I love the vlogs too of course)- reading is just a small (or disproportionately big heheh) joy that makes life that much better, and I always look forward to your recommendations and book experiences so much 🙂

Lastly, slightly embarrassing but the highlight of my past week might just have been when I finally found the balsamic that I normally buy (out of stock and taken off the website of the normal supermarket I get it from) in a new shop! I literally had a little moment just jumping up and down in the supermarket aisle… hopefully no one was looking….

Anyways, looking forward to the next video and thank you for the lovely vlog!

(ps I know you have a long TBR and I've recommended quite a few books already, but I just finished rereading Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor and I think you'd really enjoy it 🙂

  16. I love how you've been brave enough to make a full 180 on your content. For a YouTuber, that's a very scary choice and I really admire you for that. I must admit I even started reading and I think it's all thanks to your content!
I wish I had the guts to do that as well with my ASMR channel, but I'm too scared, so I only do "what works". I love it, but I miss the creative freedom 😅

  17. Love this! It’s nice to see what you are up to and don’t worry about feeling like your weeks or boring. It’s realistic! For me I hate doing stuff during the evening after work and on the weekends I’m so tired of the week I never want to leave my apartment. Can’t wait to see your book video next week

  18. I love your Booktok but I do love the little life updates too! I think I said I'm not an avid reader, but nice to hear what you've got to say 🤭 But I've been really into lifestyle vlogs recently (morning/night routines, week in my life etc), so I am definitely biased towards that, but always lovely to see you no matter what it's about 🥰

  19. I cant wait for your book revieuw of bride! I read it as wel and hated it. Too few hints were dropped to keep the mystery element captivating, I don't see the point of wanting to write fantasy if Ali also wants to destroy those elements directly with rationality (except when it comes to paternity tests apparently) and the male lead teetered between low key sexual assault and no I want you to be free and no one has ever liked you… YUK I am very positive about your book reviews though, good vibes.

I understand where you're coming from worrying if those videos seem boring to some but i believe most of us here come for the exact reason that they are cozy and human and relaxing so you have nothing to worry about! Also could you possibly link in the description the workouts you're doing throughout the video? i love trying new workouts recommended by you !

  22. Hi Jaime 👋
I have been meaning to leave this comment for a while and now seems like a good time to do it so here goes nothing. I have been watching your content for a while, and yup was totally part of the community that saw the change in content, BUT I personally love it. Even though I do not read much nowadays (bad reading slump I tell you girl) I genuinely love hearing you talk about books and give your opinions about them. I even put some of your recommendations on my TBR for whenever I am ready to get back into reading.

Also, your videos are not boring at all. On the contrary, they are quite therapeutic and soothing after such long tiring days.

So honestly? Just put out whatever content speaks to you. I am pretty sure that there will always be a community of people who will stick around just because they like watching your videos, AND you will gain new viewers too! So keep it up and sending much love to you 😘

  25. New subscriber here found you from your book content. Honestly, your normal youtuber vibes are everything I need. I'm the same way. I workout, work, read, watch something with husband, go to bed. Haha. I'm watching this while I work and it's so refreshing in the world of obnoxious youtubers. I feel like I met my youtube doppelganger. Keep being you 😀
