  1. I'm almost 35. I've followed Denny for years. He is someone I'd be happy to have a drink with. He says what he needs to say, even if some don't want to hear it and I respect that. Plus he's a fellow dad and I respect that as well.

  3. A "pass" should be simple. A change in position at the start/finish line. Start a lap in 14th and finish in 12th? That's 2 passes. No pit road, no lapping cars. A green flag pass for position that is scored at the official scoring line.

  4. Also, what if we tie the All Star race into Denny’s bracket idea? Put it in the middle of it and let it be what narrows the 16 down to 8. Would make the all star race matter and get all those guys on the track together at once. Or make it for the championship or somethjng.

  5. I like how when Ross passed Denny last year at Martinsville he called it a Bullshit move. Now when Joey out smarts em at Talladega it’s a Bullshit move. Sounds like Denny should take sum lessons in strategy in stead of just holding the wheel. Good show

  6. I’ve never been a big fan of Denny. I absolutely have a different opinion of him. He is always thinking of ways to make NASCAR better for the drivers and the fans. His idea for the bracket racing is great a great idea. How bout the winner get 15-20 pts xtra towards the playoffs. If someone pulls an upset and wins the bracket that could help a driver get in the playoffs plus the money. You could make the first bracket race before or on the 600. Might make the race a little more interesting.

  7. It's amazing how your perception changes over time. Have become a Denny fan the last year or so. I really enjoy Denny's show. Hopefully he sticks with it. I think his head to head competition idea has some promise. As far as his changes to the car goes, I vote for all three. more horsepower, tire compound changes and do something about having to shift gears. It annoys me and I'm not racing.

  8. THIS is why you do podcasts.
    .
Anyone who isn't a fan of Denny's just needs to be pointed here and their tune will change. Hopefully more misunderstood drivers will do this. If they come off bad then that's on them, but the up side? It's immeasurable.

  9. For some reason, Hamlin rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't put my finger on it, but something about his personality just didn't sit well with me. However, as time went on and I got to know this person better, I began to see another side of them that I hadn't initially noticed. I saw their kindness, their generosity, and their willingness to help others. By making an effort to connect with them and understand their perspective, I found myself warming up to him and enjoying these podcasts. It just goes to show that sometimes, our first impressions can be misleading, and it's important to give people the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to show who they really are.
