Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave Five has officially been released. It included a lot of great new tracks and was VERY close to being the perfect wave. But with Nintendo being Nintendo, they had to mess things up with a few ridiculous mistakes. What exactly were they? This will go over EVERY Wave Five track and addition to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Oh no I don't like Daisy Cruiser especially from Mario Kart 7 cuz I saw cuz once people were for the misery hacking
Sorry, but Wave 5 is FAR from perfect in my eyes.
Tracks that are compacted and smaller than they were before, some awesome things removed from Koopa Cape, another obligatory and lazy Super Circuit track, no remade track from Super, Sunset Wilds being more slippery than every other desert and ice track COMBINED and making the AI unaffected by it, two characters that appear more hunched over than they should, and some annoying aspects to Squeaky Clean Sprint.
I'm one who's optimistic, but even I can be disappointed. And Wave 5 is probably the worst wave so far.
Will there be a New Orleans based track?

like theyre fine but compared to base 8 dlc theyre a joke, the only one that i have no problem with so far is waluigi stadium, all the others feel cheap in some way

I think Sunset Wilds and Koopa Cape are definitely misses, but the rest are pretty solid

this was a great wave and they did it pretty well, but its unfortunate that the two most hyped courses werent done perfectly. sunset wilds without the sunset, and koopa cape remaining a half pipe. for me, its not the half pipe thats the issue. its the removal of the green lasers. the underwater section is really boring without them. really hope that they make a patch or include them in wave 6 along with the sunset in sunset wilds.

At the end of the video you didn't seem to have the sentiment that the Wave was ruined like the title may suggest, but otherwise, solid points were made. Hopefully they'll continue the well-designed fun and ditch the cheap with Wave 6?

Haven't gotten to the cheery cup myself but I had a feel snuset wilds will be a big deal especially for you shame the doo-wop from L.A Lap was remove which is a bummer but at least it's not all bad news found a lot of favorite courses here my only nipick course is the cruiser say what you want about that track but I'll pick circuit over the cruiser any day.
Whatβs ironic about this is that even Tour managed to do the sunset thing. Yet a mainline game couldnβt. How sad.
The fact Sunset Wilds didn't have the setting sun was a bit dissapointing.
