  1. Truth be told, I love your videos but I don't think the dirty/grimey part of the grimdark style works on tyranids. Take the earth/dust part on the wings from the back (it looks like dirt at least). It would most definitely not stay there after a couple of flaps with the wings. Also the black is way too dull and homogenous and a tad too chalky for my taste at least. It would benefit tremendously from a gradient or some zoological pattern. Or maybe some colorshift paint. The skin on the other hand is absolutely fantastic! Maybe a little gloss varnish on the tentacles.

    Pin-point oil washes and maybe gloss varnish would certainly look better and more realistic while still staying faithful to the grimdark theme but well, who am I to tell you? Sorry for giving you advice you haven't asked for. I just think you're a phenomenal painter and while this is still a great paint job I firmly believe you could easily crank this up to 11 with your talent and potential.
