  1. I started at 198 down to 158. I walk 10k steps a day. Make better eating choices. I drink at least 7 water bottles a day. I also like to do dance videos but not everyday or all the time. Slow and steady to win the race.

  2. I can absolutely be satisfied with brown rice, whole wheat bread, etc, but I CANNOT be satisfied with simply cutting out all carbs. As an aside, I finally lost the weight I wanted to lose (20lbs) when I stopped doing ANY dieting. I let myself eat whatever I wanted; zero restrictions. When I stopped stressing about it, the weight just came off. It was slow, but it was permanent.

  3. All I know is that 40 years ago I first heard about calories in versus calories out. I started counting my daily calories and kept it around 1500 calories a day until I reached my goal. These days I consume 2000 to 2200 calories to maintain. I eat the foods that I like and eat mostly whole foods. That is simply because you get more satiety for fewer calories that way. I am never hungry. My weight has stayed at the recommended level of 185.
    P.S. – I threw out my bathroom scale decades ago. I simply monitor the notches in my belt to see how I am doing. The only time I get weighed is when I go for my physical.

  4. So by restricting carbs to 37g a day… she cut calories massively! Same could be done with reducing fats and maintaining moderate to low carbs with each meal while eating high protein.

  5. I am an endurance athlete, low carb is literally the opposite of what I want. However, for most people, they should be pounding carbs.

  6. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    KJV Bible
    [1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

    Ephesians 2:8-9
    KJV Bible
    [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Romans 10:9-13
    KJV Bible
    [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
    [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
    [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
    [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    John 3:16
    KJV Bible
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    John 14:6
    KJV Bible
    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

  7. The ignorance and the lobbyist… bodybuilders are laughing now. You force your body to fuel up from other sources instead of its main one doing the low carbs diet. Anyways… enjoy the bliss. Going to enjoy my carbs proteins and fat insulin resistance free. 🙂

  8. What a load of rubbish. Essentially, if you're restricting carb intake you ARE reducing calories. Insulin sensitivity is largely a factor of body fat. If you lose fat, you improve insulin sensitivity. If you count calories & protein and let the carbs and fat fall into place, you will end up cutting your carb & fat intake over time. Weight loss stalls? – keep your protein intake the same, reduce your calories again by another 100-200. Where will the reduction be coming from? – Carbs & fat.
    Also – if you have a protein target in mind, you will start eating better by default due to making sure you are hitting your goal everyday.

  10. Month after month, year after year for decades, many weight loss programs have come and gone with each one touting to be the best way. The big problem is that no matter which program you choose, major discipline is required to be successful and is something most people can’t seem to conjure up for the long haul, plus they lack the discipline to exercise regularly. We live in a world where people want instant gratification which is simply never going to happen with weight loss.

  11. I have this idea that what you put in your body matters, it takes a certain amount of energy and time to break down food. I once had a late night dinner with similar ingredients to my earlier lunch. From that experience I deduced that breaking down multiple nutrients takes longer compared to a more basic and balanced diet.

  12. You can eat bigger meals with less calories I'm down 60 lbs doing it you still can make big meals just stick within the certain amount of calories you can eat whatever you want as long as you stay in your calories when you diet you got to eat stuff that you like

  13. They’re bsing you. I lost over 100 pounds and many of my go to foods involved carbs. They’re just trying to distract you so that you will fail and continue to be a dissatisfied consumer. Just count calories. You’re a biological engine that stores excess fuel as fat. Want less fat? Ingest less fuel, it’s so much easier than these diet companies make it seem

  14. During Covid I gained a lot of weight and had really bad acne. So what I did was changed my diet. I ate nothing but steamed veggies, fruits, chicken, and fish for a month and lost 20 pounds and my skin cleared up!!!!! Also I have bumps behind my arms and that went away as well! I went from 200 to 180 and currently weight 173 I couldn’t be happier with myself💛

  15. Carb control diets aren't for everyone. I tried the Adkins diet twice and couldn't keep on it because I jad to cut out a lot of the food I normally ate. I tried counting calories and that worked. I lost 110 lbs in just over a year. With low calorie diet I could eat what I wanted in moderation. I would also have two meals a week that I called cheat meals where I would eat as much as I wanted.

  16. I have lost 5 kg since starting to cook by myself. All ingredients can be controlled by myself. And also no need to worry about too much consumption as the portion also just in the right size. I was eating out almost every meals and the problem was I need to force myself to finish the food even though already feel full. No need to count the calories, just cook by yourself.
