  1. Ashleigh, I'm so glad you got value out of watching the "X-Men" movies! There's more to come in future MCU projects, but for now it's best to focus on this one. I know it's a lot to figure out.

To answer a few of your questions, in a non-spoiler-y way:

You're not far off in thinking that Westview has become Wanda's attempt to live her ideal life — although there's more to it than just that. You can think of those odd colourization moments, and the horrifying sights of Vision and Quicksilver, as flashes of real life seeping through the illusion. Even with powers like hers, she can't shut out reality entirely.

    Also: "Am I gonna cry!?"

My friend, I'm afraid it's very nearly a certainty. 😒

  2. I think this movie is a bit weird for me, but appealing to many. However, I think it's time for another 1944 Humphrey Bogart during WWII movie like Casablanca. In this movie "To Have and Have Not," Bogart (age 45) meets his real life to be wife Lauren Bacall (age 19) on this movie set. She was a 19-year-old nuclear Bombshell, and he surrendered. However, he still supported the French Underground against the German Nazis. In real life, they were married a year later.

  3. Monica Rambeau was Captain Marvel before Carol Danvers was in the original comics. (About 4 "Captain Marvels" earlier, in fact) And Vision and wanda's haloween costumes are their comic book costumes.

  4. Not knowing what was going on is definitely what they wanted. I knew that Wanda and Vision had twins from my days way back when I read the comics. I also know what that symbol around Geraldine's neck means. I even knew other Marvel characters from this show so far, I knew whose voice was on the radio in episode 2 , I knew why Geraldine didn't die or wasn't injured after Wana yeeted her(after episode 4) , and i was as confused as you are.

  5. Red is the color of Wanda's chaos magic. That was already established in the MCU just as Vision's energy is yellow because of the Mind Stone in his head which is also yellow. It helps to know whose energy is whose. Just as Star Wars has different color light sabers so you know who is fighting whom. πŸ˜…

Not only are Vision and Wanda's costumes comic book accurate, if a bit campy, but so are Wiccan and Speed also known as Billy and Tommy. Plus Pietro in his Quicksilver costume. Aaron Taylor-Johnson was the actor who played Pietro in the MCU. πŸ˜‚

This show was only intended to be a single season. It does however lead into the Second Doctor Strange movie. There are also supposed to be two spinoffs if things go as originally planned. Agnes is supposed to be getting a spinoff and Vision is supposed to be getting a spinoff. We will have to wait and see if these shows go into actual production.

  7. Thank you for a wonderful presentation, as always. WANDAVISION begins THE MULTIVERSE SAGA (Phases VI, V, VI and probably VII).It is a show dealing with grief and the most powerful being in the Multiverse creating an artificial universe for herself in which to process this grief and es who she truly is.

Wanda is the key to solving the three problems of the MULTIVERSE SAGA:
    1) The Dynasty of time-traveling variant warlords
    2) The Incursions
    3) The God-Emperor.and GOAT of all supervillains

  8. I mentioned this at the time originally.
Vision is trying to fight for his life, break the barrier, and he is being torn apart atom by atom. He is being painfully destroyed. He doesn't even really know what's going on…
All he asks is, "Help the people… The people need help."

That's why he could lift Molinar. He is worthy.

  9. In the X-men Universe, The Scarlet with and Quicksilver are brother and sister too, so the appearance of Evan P's quicksilver in the MCU can be viewed as an official crossover between the two universes which, at the time, made my mind explode with the possibilities. Cue the music……… Sweet Dreams are made of this. Who am I to disagree?

  10. "So does chloroform" Wow! I didn't expect that response.

The commercial for the 1980s segment was the darkest, most tragic one. For those of us who saw Captain America: Civil War, we remember all about Lagos.

  11. There's an offhand line in episode six that is a little meta-reference to the fact that Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Pietro in Age of Ultron) were both in a certain superhero movie before they were cast as Quicksilver in their respective films.

  12. Yeah I'm a HUGE Evan Peters fan too, the man is a phenomenal actor! He's also the one, true, Quicksilver IMO. On that note, I still find it kinda funny that the two Quicksilvers played friends in Kick Ass…

  13. The blood was red because things aren’t black and white due to a black and white camera, but are literally black and white. Their blood did not have its color changed because it is usually on the inside. πŸ˜‰
