Unbelievable 5'X10' Camper Trailer: "Live LARGE in a SMALL Space!"

This tiny camper is SMALL but MIGHTY! With the slide-out and pop top in a matter of seconds you can expand your sleeping and living space. At under 2,000lbs this trailer can be towed by most mid-size SUVs. Yet, it lives more like larger trailers you see on the road. This camper trailer is obviously designed for overlanding and offroad adventures. With oversized tires, beefy suspension, and 19 inches of clearance, there is no campsite this trailer can’t make it to. If you find teardrop trailers just a little too small, this might hit the sweet spot for you. Also with it’s aluminum and composite construction this trailer is not only light, but also eliminates future water damage to your small camper trailer. If your goal is a blend of indoor/outdoor living you should seriously give this trailer a look.

  1. Great looking camper, and looks to be great functionality. I’d still stay clear about though, these small businesses have a tendency to accept clients that they can’t handle and this is what Overkill did. In my opinion it’s too risky take your money and either wait or go elsewhere.

  2. I really like this one, it looks like something the Australians would offer. I hope these guys do well and can offer downgraded options to lower the price while keeping the same integrity.

  3. It's just dawned on me. Instead of Overkill taking 75% down 60 days before the start of a build they should join the dealer network of Little Guy Trailers. Then folks would only need to put down a typical deposit. However my guess is Little Guy won't even start production until they have orders on the books. Catch 22 for sure.

  4. I like the trailer design – would work for me in many ways. Can anyone offer a reasonable "toilet" approach (I am not digging holes in the woods) ? Also, I missed any discussion of grey water – if you do take this into any kind of organized campground (private, state, federal, etc.) – I suspect people will not be amused by dribbling grey water on the ground. Am I wrong?

  5. I do like these. But doesn’t work for our family. The closest thing so far to what we want space and bed options and minimal footprint size is the Winnebago Hike 100 1316SB.

There definitely are so many things Winnebago must do better to reach the level of of these specialty builders. But the specialty builders definitely skip the family with 2.5 kids in a compact camper. As for tow rigs? Lets be honest my 4runner was great when I was single. The J80 Landcruiser was cool when married without kids. The 07 Sequoia was pretty good with kids and superior to all the prior Toyotas I had for long trips.

Today we roll a heavy tow pack reg length Platinum Expedition and freaking love it. By far the best rig I’ve ever had. Does everything I did with my Toyota’s only way better, with way more power, Comfort, mileage and range. The technology has been super nice also. Oh and it freaking crushes the towing effort. I have no interest in dragging a big camping rig, but having the capacity to pack the truck full of people, dogs, gear and toss a nice trailer on with very little impact on towing performance. Is a foreign concept to Toyota owners. 😆

Oh and I towed racing sailboats with Subarus for 20yrs yr around so I know a thing or two about counting lbs and sending people in other vehicles so my rig could make the trip 😆

  6. why add commercials if you're trying to sell an item. Waste of time. Move along people nothing to see here but ads for other products. Sick of watching people try to hock there interesting goods only to be overrun by ads. Start stop start stop..

  7. What went wrong with OVERKILL Well at this point if recent customer puts an ebike on back and it bends no further discussion needed….this trailer has too many fails for the price point and continually substituting of contracted products and change in main structure…that there is no idea how it will stand out in time….so far hasn’t had a year of good success with non failures. On the other hand there are customers owed money and builds that xtreme outdoors their partner has confirmed in writing they are not building. So we as in more than you can imagine are left to hang at on the avg 32,000-43,000…do the math. Where is Overkill as they are stating building the “overkill camper”? They will be completely vacated from their Bend Oregon warehouse by April 15th,…

  8. Amazing trailer and would consider purchasing. But….would not deal with a company that screws people. And you should not review or recommend a business that does so. Will need to see that complaints/refunds are addressed before having a serious look.

  9. I’m glad you finally reviewed this trailer. There isn’t a ton of information/reviews about this company/trailer and I have been interested in them for awhile. I’d love to see them succeed in their business.
