The US has one of the worst rights situation for citizens and definitely the worst I wannabe "police" of all real DEVELOPED countries.
Seen from the outside the US don't even have a police force of a free democracy that's a PARAMILITARY MECENARY ORGANISATIONEN terrorising citizens.
Even worse the US "Justice system" must be rotten to the bones to allow this shit show (sorry no better words for it) to going on.
While the US crime rate is sky rocketing so are the violations (including killings/murder) against innocent (and not so innocent) citizens executed by the US mercenary force.
In some cases more than
100 %! against other developed countries.
No joke easy to look up.
In a lot of developed countries especially in Europe you have up to 4(!) INDEPENDENT organisations/Institutions who control and overlook the work of the police as the justice system.
It takes in some developed countries up to 3 (!) years to become a real police officer with ongoing training in law deescalation and psychological interactions with citizens (or criminals) during the carrier of a police officer.
Alone the attitude/behaviour/language used dealing with citizens (or criminals) of a lot US mercenaries would get them fired here in no time.
Pulling a gun out of the holster without a ABSOLUTE threat to the police officer(s) or citizen(s) would end in either a straight kick out or depending of the case: court and jail.
Same with tasers. Using a taser if not ABSOLUTELY necessary is considered as: Torture.
As any other form of violence: if not necessary.
And still violations keep happening.
Without those "rules" you end up in the US "system" who is not efficient nor is it preventing crime nor does it help in the interaction with Citizens.
Not even going to: respect for the police or trust.
More the opposite is the case according to the numbers.
Seen again from the outside the US system is more a danger to any democratic and free societies.

Partly even 2nd world countries have meanwhile a more efficient police force.
