Makaveli – Against All Odds [Digitally Remastered]

R.I.P. 2Pac (b. June 16, 1971 – d. September 13, 1996; Age 24) (Homicide by gunshot.)

Lesane Parish Crooks born to Billy Garland and Alice Faye Williams in East Harlem, New York City, New York. His mother and step father were Black Panthers, which heavily influenced his music.

He was in a hip hop duo in high school, as a rapper, and his friend Mouse would beatbox. He was recognized as the best rapper in his school. He also studied ballet, theater, and poetry during his education.

He began his rap career in 1989 as a New York rapper by the moniker of MC New York as a member of the group Strictly Dope. In 1990, his manager connected him with Digital Underground as a roadie & backup dancer; and he later became an official member of the group. He was also a member of the Outlawz and the group Thug Life. He had starred in many movies during his short life.

He was robbed and pistol-whipped in the elevator at Quad Studios, and while attempting to pull his gun, shit himself in the groin. The original medical report confirms this, but 2Pac paid another doctor to create a false medical report stating he was shot in the head. It is rumored that Haitian Jack orchestrated the shooting in retaliation for disrespect by Tupac.

However, Dexter Isaac is listed as the author of a confessional letter to Allhiphop.com in which he claims that he was hired by entertainment mogul James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond to carry out the November 1994 robbery in front of New York’s Quad Studio. Isaac is currently serving a life sentence for an unrelated crime.

2Pac was involved in an altercation at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada with Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, a Southside Compton Crip, who had snatched a Death Row necklace from a member of that studio at a shopping mall. In retaliation, 2Pac and other members jumped Anderson. Later that night, with Orlando Anderson’s uncle driving, they pulled up to the car with Suge Knight & 2Pac, and opened fire, killing 2Pac.
