  1. Forget a ring of honor!
    Forget retiring jerseys!
…make a walk of honor on the way to the stadium with statues of each of the bears stars on each side like Greek gods 10" tall. Put their story on a plaque under them.
It would be the classiest "ring of honor" in the NFL

  2. Everyone keeps talking about moving Skoronski to G. I honestly don’t see it. Inside at G he’d be facing the bigger stronger guys. I think he’d be better suited against the smaller faster Edge guys at T where he’s proven he can play.
Watch the tape. What good are Paris’ long arms if he doesn’t use them?
I gave you guys the perfect video of how wide Paris plays and wraps guys instead of locking those arms out and stiff arming them. Guys are constantly up in his chest because of it. Paris gets walked back a good bit. He leans on guys too much. His hand placement is always wrong on double teams. Skoronski is fundamentally sound compared to Paris. Even compared with Broderick Jones. Jones plays with those wide hands too. I think Jones has far more upside than Paris because of the way he moves people. Just like Tevin and Deiter.
I don’t get how these top tier Tackles at football factories don’t understand leverage and use it. There’s no excuse for holding and that’s what Paris does is wrap guys up. The videos I posted here were highlight videos that showed it. It’s even worse in regular tape.
The top Tackle in the draft should blow you away with his play. Not his measurements. At this point he should already be a fundamentally sound football player, not a project.
You guys are known for not following the narratives and Paris Johnson is a narrative because of his size until his play shows otherwise against top players.
Shayne will love this, but I was All State at 6’0” 200lbs. Jr year I was NT and had 21 tackles against a 6’7” 260lb All State G.
On offense I was C that year and he was NT. He finished the game with 2 tackles. Arm length is way overrated.
What I’m saying is Skoronski is that guy that plays with leverage even if his arms are undersized.
Paris is good, but I see too many mistakes when he has quick feet and hips and should be winning more reps. The leaning I can deal with more than the wide hand play. His angles in the open field or second level aren’t great either. That’s where Skoronski and Broderick really set themselves apart from Jones. Phil knows blocking. I didn’t think he would back Paris that high in the draft.

  4. I always thought the Packers signed Raymont Harris just to fuck up the chemistry between Rahsaan Salaam and Harris. If they got going, they were one of the only real threats Chicago had to beat GB at that time.
