Colonel Patterson’s stirring narrative about the hunt for the man-eating lions of Tsavo, responsible for the deaths of many construction workers on the Kenya-Uganda Railway between March and December 1898. First published as the “Man Eaters of Tsavo” in 1907.
This narration focuses on the story of the man-eating lions. The remaining portions of the book will be reproduced later in a different recording.

  1. This story got my interest in to wild life and maneaters. This is a really frightening story. This will be the third time and version that I am listening to. But that will have to wait another 20 hours. uch awaited story.

  2. Such a wild and thrilling tale, albeit sad! Lions and tigers are in their elements at night. Imagine listening to those ominous roars and not being able to see them coming closer. Then they go silent into stealth mode before grabbing a human like a mouse. Terrifying stuff!
