  1. The parking thing reminds me of the new Adam Something video on “free parking.” I love how this systems seems to allow us to choose what types of transit we incentivize. We can build efficient subway networks or an 8-lane hellscape that people still drive on because parking is free and public transit is badly maintained. So many options!

  2. is it going to be possible to build raised roads/traintracks on small hills and not pillars with custom boards? Or like lowered highways. And we should be able to build tunnels through the hill if it's high enough. In cs1 vanilla when you builded a raised road it was completely on pillars i just very rarely see it in europe

  3. What about Firefighter's Helicopter AI? Will they be smarter on forest fires (some real tactics for example), instead of throwing water in random trees? Will CS 2 have an firefighter planes to extinguish forest fire faster and more realistic?

  4. Its incredibly disappointing to see you showcasing this graphics, especially after using Unreal Engine 5 for your release trailer. It feels like they have become worse compared to Cities skylines 1.

  5. This is awesome! But I've got to know…
Did you guys change the way cars change lanes? In SC1, I got really annoyed by the fact that all cars on a highway would make jarring lane changes in the same spot (Because they change lanes on road joints). It caused major traffic problems.

  6. This isn't hard to understand since we make decisions like that all the time in the real world in fact someone suddenly changing their path without properly signaling and so forth is a major cause of accidents! Hiving your Cims do this in the game shouldn't be hard for anyone to understand. I have wished Cims would have more realistic pathfinding since day one of City's Skyline I! – Edited to correct a spelling error -,.

  7. Why does almost every single clip in the video show nearly empty streets? Why do some clips show actual traffic glitches? Every trailer I've watched has lowered my expectations like this, I mean if the traffic AI was actually good surely you would SHOW IT IN YOUR TRAFFIC AI VIDEO.

I'm betting it actually doesn't work with lots of cars, and we're headed for another Developer Apology Moment soon after launch. C:S 1 was plagued with traffic issues that were never fixed by the devs even after 8 years. I'm starting to think they aren't capable of fixing them. Only mods helped a bit, but even then there's no mods on console.

Let's not forget, they never put in green turn arrows. Like 50% of traffic issues could be solved with green turn arrows. But the developers of a traffic simulator game have somehow never seen a green arrow traffic light.

  8. Can we on console change intersection lanes so we can have a let say 1 lane off into 2 and 2 straight on rather than 1 lane off and one lane straight on or off and another just for straight on?. Also like to make adjustment to spilt the road and not have lane be able to upturn on a highway.

  10. I'm expecting bunch of city/district policies to improve traffic safety. Like, can we expect to see speed bumps to enforce vehicles slowing down? That would looks realistic around schools or certain type of neighborhoods.
Will we also be able to send out trucks to clear out snow during blizzards?

  11. I hope the main problem with cs1 will be solved: using only 1 lane when there are 2 or more…even on highways.
Thaat caused a lot of traffic jams. Especially with traffic lights at every junction as standard…
