Tracking Cyclone Judy + Dry weather for the North Island

Tropical Cyclone Judy is going to directly affect Vanuatu over the next two days, with the Fiji Met Service expecting the storm to become a β€œsevere” Category 3 cyclone over the top of the capital, Port Vila tonight/overnight/Wednesday.

The latest tracking for Judy still keeps it well to NZ’s north – but it is worth monitoring closely each day in case there is any change to this tracking.

More flooding and slips for Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay overnight – but we FINALLY have some good news for you, and for other flood hit regions of the North Island with drier weather – not wetter – dominating for the next week ahead.

  2. I having been following you from Fiji for past few weeks and your analysis and simplicity in presentation is just awesome. You are truly able to capture people's feel on the current weather and accordingly you are able to explain what the forecast lookslike for them!

Take care & be safe Vanuatu!
No rain? I'm optimistic. However at this point I'll believe it when I see it! Apparently the rain was supposed to ease off after cyclone Gabrielle too.
    🀞🏼Finger crossed eh!
    Thank you Phillip and WeatherWatchTV.
