  1. Remember that you are not being brave for recording tornadoes that are this close to you. Tornadoes can change course whenever they please and in recording them close up you are risking your own life. You are not a hero for recording tornadoes – leave it to storm chasers who are in a much better position than you are. Have a plan, and for goodness’ sake get in a basement or storm cellar. It isn’t worth risking serious injury or death to capture a close-up recording of a tornado.

  2. One of the things people should know if in a town after the tornado goes through is to GTFO the area as fast as possible when gas lines are broken. Don't fire up a stress cigarette, just check on neighbors and rally them to GTFO.

  4. Are we ever going to make tornado proof buildings? It's 2024 and we are still just rebuilding the same structures that can't withstand an F1 or F2 without taking structural damage. At this point people living in tornado prone locations should be living underground.

  5. 5:28 – The devastation of Garner Industries takes less than one minute. Everything's standing, and then it isn't. If you were there and hadn't taken shelter because you wanted to watch what was happening, you literally had only seconds to get to safety once things started being ripped apart.

  6. 17:58 – The destruction of the metal industrial building in China, with abundant dust being blown out of it as it falls apart, really reminds me of the famous film clip of the small wooden house that was built near a nuclear test detonation in the US in the 1950s. That house first is hit with the heat blast, which immediately ignites much of the wood, and the smoke is blown away from it at high speed before the shock wave strikes the house and blows it to pieces.

  7. 23:02 – Florida Man wins coveted Darwin Award for standing in front of a glass door while a tornado flings debris at his house at high speed, which – to his apparent surprise – breaks the glass he's next to.

  9. The tornado by Blair Omaha. Wasn't that ALSO the storm that made miles of electricity non-existent? Because I remember there being a storm this year and it knocked out power for some people 4-5 days others had it 1-2 weeks. Other electrical companies from neighbor states even stepped in to help. That's how bad that storm was.. I just want to know if the tornado by Blair Omaha was also the one that took power away from people on blistering hot days.
