You have to understand that all the capable talent left Disney some time ago so Iger was trying to right the ship without any competent assistance. Staggs and Mayer are just that help he needs and they possess the requisite skills to take the reigns from Iger at some point in the future.

You’re accurate in describing them as saving Bob Iger, not saving the Walt Disney Company. Under the rumored consultancy deal, they won’t have enough authority to affect film production, theme parks, or anything else outside TV and streaming ad revenue/business.
It would be great to see these men come back if they were allowed to immediately replace the entire BOD and several other leadership teams.
Why are people disembarking rides more often than ever before? Because they're breaking down more than ever before. If you have a medical need or the desire not to wet yourself in public, don't go to a Disney park until they sort their act out

Very simple. If someone gets off a ride vehicle without guidance from a cast member, as soon as they exit the building, or attraction, they are escorted to the gate, FOREVER.
Steakhouse 55, a dark rest area? Disney, you can, and must be, better.
Too little, too late. I am done with Disney because of its overt far left politics, the low quality of the parks experience and the terrible writing in movies and TV.
Iger started the decline, then left it for Chapek to take the hit. Don't get me wrong, he helped nothing. I hope they can find someone who loves Disney and can get it back on track. We don't need all the things Iger bought, or should I say, indebted Disney to.
Staggs would be great to replace Iger. BOTH would be an amazing DUO!

The water isn't filthy small world and all water rides have a ton of chlorine and they have heavy duty filters! I still wouldn't jump into the water! You're more likely to get hurt The waters is the least of your worries!
Saddened to hear that Steakhouse 55 has been closed down permanently… Another good OG establishment gone to the dust and replaced with a cheap booze service… Disney is no longer encouraging elegant or classy ambiances.
I can't wait until Epcot starts growing weed
