@C'mon keeping it real Not sure if anyone else posted this, didn't read through all comments lol. Rob said to pull the driveshaft and physically move the U-Joint in your hand and see if you have a stiff spot. It's sounds like you have U-Joint trying to lock up. He runs into it often where one cap will freeze up. He said all the grease will want to go to the others but the one having the issue.
If you still have a vibration in the drivetrain have them check your drive shaft and your yolks. That might be the problem may not be the transmission at all.
I had a bent rim that made my car act like what your describing.

Howdy, on your truck did you check the front in alignment that can cause all kinds of vibration problems??
When are you going to hook up your washer that would save you alot of time and money .Also my late husbands Gmc truck did the exact same thing as your did and it was the Tyerods and the bearings in the cvjoint.
Keep an eye on your tires because if somethings wrong, it’ll eat your tires and short-term
I hope your truck will be simple and not too expensive to fix.

If they didn’t do an alignment when you had the tires balanced, that’s probably what you need.
David chevy does have a transmission issue. The 8 speed was the worst. I have a 6 speed in mine and i have put 2 in mine. They do have a lawsuite going against them.
