“According to MakingStarWars.net, a large number of Stormtroopers have been destroyed in the series, with their armour obliterated. However it seems the Stormtroopers become reanimated with their armour fixed in a similar way to Kylo Ren’s mask in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Kylo’s helmet was reforged and held together with blood red veins made from Sarrassian iron. This procedure in The Rise of Skywalker was inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese art which see’s broken valuables such as antiques fixed with gold or silver to mend the broken pieces, and put the item back together. Unlike Ren’s mask, the Stormtroopers armour will be held together by golden veins, once again seemingly being inspired by the Kintsugi tradition.
MSW speculates that perhaps these troopers are brought back to life with their armour fixed by a variation of Nightsisters in the ‘new beyond’, but once again, this is merely speculation. These troopers supposedly serve Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and will also take orders from Baylon (Ray Stevenson), Thrawn’s second in command and former Jedi, and they’re led into battle by Baylon’s apprentice, Shin, played by Ivanna Sakhno. The primary objective of Thrawn and the troopers is to hunt down Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and our titular hero, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson).”

Sounds interesting to me. That would be quite a companion to Moff Gideon's scientific experiments on test subjects with blood from a Force-sensitive.
