  1. Do Not go to Fleet Week in San Francisco! San Francisco is deteriorating to doom! Parking would be nowhere near the events if not impossible and driving in San Francisco is a total nightmare with all the "transit-only" lanes and restricted roads to motor vehicles. If you are very lucky enough to even park 1 mile away from the event, you will return to find your windows smash and stuff robbed from the vehicle. If you are unlucky enough, you would also get an annoying parking ticket from the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department aggressive and unwelcoming security guards in all green uniforms with big bad batons accusing you did not properly secure your belongings and cause a mess of broken glasses. FYI, the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department park security guards are Not cops!
For the sake of yourself and your family, stay far away from San Francisco! You have been warned! Heed or regret later!
There are much more suitable places than San Francisco. Like consider Monterey Bay, etc.
