  1. Thanks for the video. In regards to the fuel: Yeah, the concept is used within Edegard to fuel big constructs as well as tiny applications. Therefore, Maji is just another form of channeled Enzytropy. Stay curious!

  2. First of all great video as always! Second, you made me think about something. It is clearly said in the game that Zelda is related/ a descendant of Sonia and Rauru, but we do see Sonia get killed and Rauru imprison himself with Ganon. Begs the question, where is their child? Or did they have one? I don't remember anyone talkind about it, so how could Zelda be related/ a descendant if both of them "died" before having a offspring, unless they had family that took over? Might be interesting to look into it i think.

  3. Rauru having the same name as the ancient sage from OOT leaves me to believe that the marriage between Rauru and Sonia wasn’t the first marriage between hylian and zonai. Just a theory

  4. Great vid, as per usual and the merch idea, I mean yt won't pay bills for most creators so it's either doing it as side gig, ask for something through patreon support and/or merch. Doing merch like this is certainly remarkable. That said, prices are prices and while maybe worth it, it's not like many can afford them. Although given it's handcrafted and all, it is limited in number since you can do only so much concentrated work. I hope there are some among us fans that will buy them.

  5. Exceptionally in-depth video as always, Don. Noticing the similarities throughout the playthrough couldn’t be helped and you compiled them wonderfully and got into great detail on some things that the creators no doubt left for thought. Thank you so much!

Also, just got myself some pendants 😃 your fiancée’s work is amazing, and your merch is some of the few I’ve been excited to get, and it is so special, too! Can’t wait to get them 😊 see you in the next one!

  6. Ooooooh my. What a nice video. Even as an absolute Zelda geek I had to go back into your video several times to think about the possible connections you made. Videos like these are a big reason to why Totk was literally the first video game I was so excited about that I had to get it as preorder. Content creators like you make these kind of series so much more valuable and exciting than they initially seem. I am looking forward to your next videos!

PS: Your fiancés creations are beautiful! I am so happy to see that you too combine what you love and support each other so much.

  7. Are you going to mention when rarue seals Gannon and when link uses his abilities his arm is blue at the finger tip and the base of Rarues seal starts blue then turns green. As if when their magic/zonaite is more concentrated it turns blue instead of green. I think sheika tech is powered by concentrated zonaite. Also sheika were explained to embody power through wisdom in one of the books. The colors on the zonai could be a metaphor of wisdom through courage/a concentrated of courage I guess? I think that phrase from the book about the sheika getting rid of the courage aspect of the triforce to find power through wisdom is much deeper than we realize and reveals a lot about the literal story and the themes. I also feel like that has a lot to do with the connection to the two and how they both powered and made their tech.

  9. Sometimes I think Zelda, in her seemingly short time in the past with the zonai, had instructed them to make sure the shrines were landed in the familiar places where the Sheikah shrines once were, considering that the zonai shrines are either popping in or landing from the sky onto hyrule… meaning the sheikah inspired Zelda, and Zelda inspired the zonai.. what a paradoxical line of inspirations lol

  10. I would think that up until the banishment of the Sheikah that the influence and knowledge of the Zonai was widely known but (like you said) after seeing the destructive power that the Sheikah were able to demonstrate with it, the fearful King banished not just the Sheikah but also knowledge of the Zonai and that is when and why the ruins were covered up.

  11. My theory about Calamity Ganon is that Ganondorf oozes malice even from within his seal, and over periods of 10,000 years it builds up and that's Calamity Ganon. If that bit about Ganon powering Shiekah tech is true, that Ganon's 'gloom' and the energy from Rauru's seal combine to make ancient energy, then that means they're literally utilizing Ganon's own corpse to neutralize his wrath and destroy his malice. How amazing to think about!

It also leans credence to just how frighteningly powerful Ganon is, especially with his Secret Stone. Calamity Ganon and all the monsters spawned from its malice are such a force to be reckoned with, that only the Master Sword and Zelda's Light Powers can effectively deal with it; and, even with both present, they still need to rely on harvesting Ganon's own energy to avoid being completely overwhelmed and obliterated!

  12. My theory on the Sheikah kind of depends on if BOTW/AOC/TOTK is canon to the timelines, specifically the Adult Timeline. Assuming so, my theory is they were one of the original races, like Hylians and Gerudo and etc. But since the Sheikah population was low and closely related to the Hylians, they came together and so the Sheikah we see in modern times are hybrid races, rather than solely Sheikah genetics.

Sadly I can't buy your stuff right now, but hopefully you'll keep promoting it and I'll have the budget soon, because they do look really great and I'd definitely want to get something someday.

  13. My theory is Zelda, in Tears of the Kingdom, travels back in time to the period before the prologue of Skyward Sword. Here is my reasoning.
If Tears of the Kingdom's Gannon, was a reincarnation of Demise, where is Link? Where is the Master Sword. In theory if there is one, there should be the other, according to Demise's curse. TotK's Gannon doesn't recognize the master sword, he only knows of it via Raru and Zelda's discussion of it. My theory is this incarnation of Ganondorf predates Skyward Sword and the creation of the Master Sword.
My theory is TotK Ganondorf – 'the Demon King' is related to Demise – 'the Demon King' (they both have the same skirt in their boss phase). I think the TotK Gannon although "sealed" by Raru, was able to leak out similar to the events seen in Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom. TotK Gannon's spirit is (or has become) Demise, in my theory. Demise's scar is where Gannon's sacred stone was mounted, and probably had to be torn away from the stones great spiritual power.
Evidence to support this theory, the missing goddess statue. In Raru's time period, there's no giant Hylia goddess statue in the forgotten temple. I think this is because Hylia hasn't had to act yet. The Zonai are on the earth and they are handling the kingdom, however after Raru seals TotK Gannon, he and Mineru are out of commission leaving the kingdom Zonai-less and completely unprotected.
In the Prologue of Skyward Sword, it describes 'a war of unmatched scale and ferocity the likes of which would never be seen again. One dark, fateful day, the earth cracked wide and malevolent forces rushed forth from the fissure. They mounted a brutal assault upon the surface people, driving the land into deep despair… They burnt forests to ash, choked the land's sweet springs, and murdered without hesitation.'
I think this is what Hidemaro Fujibayashi alluded to when he said, "there may have been a history of destruction before the story of Hyrule's foundation". Because of Demise's rampage on earth is why we see so little of the OG Zonai architecture in the Zelda series, except what was hidden beneath the primitive looking Zonai structures in Faron.
Raru doesn't even consider using the Triforce, because, one he can handle it on his own, and two it's still in Hylia's protection.  It's also why Demise needs the power of the Triforce, because it's the only (in universe) item that would be more powerful than Raru and his spiritual stone.
This theory explains the ruins of civilization on the earth's surface, in Skyward Sword. The mining facilities, the robots, the temples, all were originally part of Raru's Hyrule.
It also may be why the dragons in Skyward Sword, (Lanayru, Farosh, and Eldin) can talk, and aren't big almost mindless flying guys. It might be because they were once Zonai and because of their Zonai DNA, the dragonification, takes longer, and they hold onto their sentience longer than, say the Hylian Zelda, did. They eventually do become giant sky guys because they are immortal, but the time between Zelda's time travel and Skyward sword isn't that long, so the dragons are still on the small side and still have clothes and can speak.
The Shiekah aren't in the Zonai time period, because there is really no need for a group like the Shiekah. The Shiekah protected an served the Hylian Royal family and were the chosen protectors of the goddess Hylia. Raru wouldn't have needed protection by mere humans, and if my theory is true the goddess wouldn't be mortal yet.
In my theory the Master Sword was taken back, by Zelda's time shift abilities, to before it was created, however the sword would be in Zelda's dragon hair, hidden and protected, during the forging of the Master Sword, and the events of Skyward Sword, and the entirety of all the time-lines for that matter, if I'm correct.
    No reboot necessary.

  15. Was literally pondering this when I was on the loading screen of TOTK (I got distracted ok) and saw the closeup shots of the stone carved walls. Rauru's eyes, specifically in the shot where he's marrying Sonia, looked too much like Sheikah eyes to me to be coincidence, lol. Great video, though I do wonder if Malice, Spirit Energy and Ancient energy aren't just yet another representation in the Zelda series of a Triforce dynamic. I mean… They're even green blue and red, lol
