Thought provoking discussion, I really enjoy listening to and considering the points you make. I'm not American but I believe we all experience these issues on some degree or another and yes it is true that, like weather, a lot of it begins with the US and spreads outwards.
Ultimately it all comes down to power, (or the feeling of powerlessness) whether individually or corporately. The one thing that staves off apathy is the pursuit of power.
I sense the underpinning of trust in a higher power is the ultimate solution to healing our wounds. It's a good topic for sure ā¤

You were one nation under God. Not one religion, there were multiple, one nation under God. Instead of arguing whoĀ“s God is the right one, how about all worship as they see fit, without oppressing others or slandering and all the negativity. Why not just celebrate God and us people under God that are made in the image. Enjoy life as you see fit without concentrating on how others do it. I see lot's of positivity, but I see the negativity. Harmony is there, but people must see it. Lose the negative. Start celebrating the differences. Remove crimes without a victim, like all this hurting of feelings about otherĀ“s way of life. If someone want's to enjoy psychoactive drugs, unless that person is wrestling cops without clothes, let them do it. If someone want's to honor God by abandoning modernity, let them do it. It's easy but people won't see it. Just celebrate the fact that we are under God. Possibly big pharma and weapons lobbing needĀ“s some government regulation, but generally people need's more celebratory gatherings, where people could present their way of life in positive meaning, like religion Con, like they do it with comics, or way of life con. The greater cause is God, and let's just celebrate our differences. Love is the answer.

To fellow christians, IĀ“d like you to remember that Jesus told to do the will of the "father" the God. God was in him, and he was "in God", but he did not ask to worship him but to give the glory to the Father the God only. So there is no reason for division as all religious people should do the will of the father. Jesus told he did not come here to change one letter of the law, just to make it right what the law really ment. Was he real, I believe he is, but that's not even the most important question, he told to do the will of the father, which would be the commandments of the old testament, without making the religion about people arguing who is right. Honor God in your heart and make the temple in your heart. By listening to God, we could find the common cause. We must be humble, as who gives the ideas, God does, being in God and God being in you is the unity of the people. I love the great speech of our Rabbi here ā¤ Love thy neighbour, don't try to find what's wrong in them.
Where are the leaders we need at a moment like this? We need another Moses-like figure such as MLK Jr to come along. A lot of people forget about the stand he took against our militarization, which in my opinion is what finally killed him. Since then you have hardly heard a whisper against war in the pews. And history has always shown that we do not live in a consequence free environment. We just dont have hundreds of years left to discover it like Rome.

My add: Iām Irish and here in Ireland the last 20 year thereās a separation between church and state, which in itself is good BUT, no longer are the church/schools responsible for spiritual/ethical teachings no one is other than the home and in some instances the home canāt accommodate. This has led to individualistic behavior where people believe their thoughts and requirements are more important than the structure of society. I do think everyone is entitled to be heard and understood and encourage independent thought but the tribal elements are vanishing and if anything, the Irish were a strong tribe and although Iām not a church going Catholic I did benefit from the teaching and the sense of belonging to a community, which I see dwindling and instead of people praying to God they are looking to Musk, Bezos etc. I admire the Rabbi and Jewish people who are cohesive and strive for togetherness. I hope I expressed this ok.

Very simple put. A large part of the population is demoralized and is not able to differentiate between fantasy and reality.
