  1. If the police are telling the 'truth 'Mister Cole un-lived himself. The overall death rate from suicide for American Indian/Alaska Native adults is about 20 percent higher as compared to the non-Hispanic white population.

  2. I was just lucky I wasn’t raise on the rez. My father was smart enough and worked hard enough to make us a life somewhere else. My heart aches for his family. I love my people and will pray for them all. Fly to heaven my native brother.

  3. It’s like that police dept had pronounced him guilty before he was even arrested or formally charged, typical & pathetic. Then someone cutting his hair off & possibly relationship issues he was battling all being piled on him. A person, even a strong person can only take so much. Put yourself in his shoes & you’ve had your long hair that’s sacred & taken years to grow out, cut off without wanting it cut, a close personal relationship is having problems & then you’re Lakota with the police just pronouncing you guilty of crimes you’ve not even been charged with & they are hunting you. This is sickening & sad. He’s with his ancestors now. I hope the Brings Plenty family sues that police department & all of LEO’s involved are sued personally & terminated from their positions.

  5. Tragically many young natives fall under the pressures of society. A gray area of …not on the Rez, but not of society. And the pressure to fit into both when you enter some fields of work are hard for many especially the youth. In all the BS today about other cultures……..this is the ONLY culture we should be catering to…..the indigenous………not the illegals or the blacks………but our native peoples who have had it far far worse than any other culture in America today. Where’s all the shouting for them? Reparations for blacks….nope….natives you bet. Maybe more native youth and native women would be alive today.

  6. Native Americans are missing all over the US. Most of the time, nothing is done. Most are never found. Red hand print over mouth. Symbol of Missing Murdered of (indigenous people)American Natives. Montana Crow Nation

  7. Sorry for the dad’s loss and finding out about his son’s character at the same time. He did ghost to escape consequences just as his dad thought he would never do. Also, as a minority I can say dad is wrong that it would be different if he was not Lakota. They had an incident and a warrant but the suspect fled as a result and they knew it. White, Black, Green or Purple in that instance you are a fugitive on the run not a missing person because the public also needs to know what they may encounter if they approach.

  8. People in the comments obviously didn't listen. No one said there "was no cause of death". They said there was no evidence of foul play. Two TOTALLY different things. The cause of death could have been accidental, self inflicted, etc. And for those thinking it "must have been a white man". Do you really think if there was even the tiniest hint of foul play, his family and the Native American community would let that pass???? Get real.

  9. I do not believe he was in that car. I think it was a way to destroy his name. More than likely he was approached by the Hollywood demonic underground and when he refused they destroyed his name and killed him. We see these things happening over and over with no one doing anything about it.
I send out many prayers for the mother and father, the grandparents, and the extended family friends that loved him. May God help you on your journey of grief.
