You needed to either purposefully unwind it or have a faulty player or just smash it to pieces to achieve that. And then comes CD and it's cool, it can hold a lot of information, but why the fuck is it so fucking exposed. There was noooo reason for disks to be like that. And later, wouldn't you know: PSP proved it by basically putting the disk in a floppy-like case! It's like they purposefully designed CD to be expendable like that, so you buy multiple copies of one thing in your life

Terraria is kinda like Shadow of the Colossus solely in the fact that the bosses are the main point of the game and are the key to progression, but ofc the bosses aren't literal level designs like in SotC. Just strictly the cool idea of the bosses being the way to progress, even more extremely than in Soulsbourne games.

What you guys would call a private school, we call a catholic school and they have churches attached. It's more like 45% non-religious, which is still pretty high, but we don't have more atheists than not.

Like half the country is tropical to subtropical, there are regions that stretch for over a hundred kilometers that look like the Bahamas, just travel from the Gold Coast across the Brisbane Coast and into the Sunshine Coast. We've got rainforests, native palm trees that just grow along the street, fields of wildflowers, and most of the wild life is actually pretty friendly. The spiders are overblown, south american ones are worse. The Huntsman, the one everyone freaks out about, kills pests; and the only ones that are actually that bad are trapdoor spiders but just wear shoes and don't stick your hand in holes in trees and the ground and you'll be fine. Apart from drop bears, we don't have any large predators; while america has tons. Spider bites hurt and need to be disinfected, snake bites require antivenom, and in both cases the spider or snake isn't hunting you and is only biting in defence or fear; while bites from mountain lions, wolves, or bears can kill you even if you get to a hospital and they have been known to attack people out of nowhere.
The only large predator we have are crocs, but just don't be a fucking idiot and swim in croc infested water. Most of the people who die by croc were doing something incredibly stupid and earned a darwin award, it's extremely rare for it to happen to someone who did everything right.
