Nowadays, navies use both nuclear and conventional propulsion systems for submarines and aircraft carriers, meaning that they use nuclear reactors, or fossil fuel in order to generate power for propulsion and operation of on-board equipment. But why are submarines and aircraft carriers Nuclear-powered? Why nuclear propulsion is the best and worse at the same time.
