We’ve now ventured 7,000 miles across the USA from the start in New York, which means the car has 12,500 miles on it already. Along the way have been some amazing stops, roads, experiences and everything that could possibly happen on a dream road trip, although certainly some challenges. For the final leg of the journey to the West, we’re heading out of Las Vegas and onwards to California, but choosing the more complicated route to go via Death Valley.
Death Valley is renowned for being the lowest point of the USA, and holding the record for the highest temperature ever recorded on the planet, with swatches of spectacular scenery and hours upon hours of driving across the unknown with absolutely zero phone reception to speak of. Today I want to share more of the behind the scenes with you, what it’s like on the road with things happening along the way, and what we’re planning for as we go – even if that includes forgetting to turn on a microphone! (Whoops)
