This is the space reserved for people to complain about how paladins were better when they HAD to be lawful good
There you go, now we can keep it contained.
10hp per turn for a minute, that's 60 hp, not 100. Edit* Loved the rest'o the vidya, though! Oath of Love is a cool premise.
Hell yeah new pointy hat vid!!!!!!!!
Random viewer that never played DeD here. so long story short paladins are about their commitment to something and that thing can be anything?
Anyone else kinda wonder if someone at Wizards read "Way of Kings" and went: "Fellas? Our problems differentiating Paladins and Clerics have been solved!"
My first ever character was a Oath of Ancients Dragonborn named Skolas. The last survivor of a tribe of druidic Dragonborn who lived in a forest that got destroyed by agents of the bbeg. His favorite things were trees, good times, and apples, oh so many apples. A bag of holding of apples. Definitely didn't eat a golden apple gifted by an aspect of bbeg. It worked out okay…mostly.
ah shit, now i just wanna dust off my old paladin character and have a great time
Show Wisteria off to the Shadowfell and see how she reacts
Love the video. Love the character. Checking out the build.
My one disagreement: narrow moral codes are a feature of the Paladin, not a bug. Yes, that everyone assumed the SAME moral code is a bit annoying, but the idea is essentially to tie the character’s power to the roleplay of a particular morality. Even within Lawful Good, you don’t need to be a Stick-in-the-Mud. You can search the home of a corrupt noble if you have something like probable cause because no one is above the law. You can seize artifacts that belong to others for the greater good, taking personal responsibility for fighting any injustice associated. It’s only a problem if you’re not willing to work on it, which can be said about any trope.
You're editing is so top tier, i feel ambushed by how hard i laugh by some visual gags you put in
was that Sabaton-?
Idea:
Oath of Love Paladin x Wizard Who Dumped Con (They are Not a Nice Person)
or, extra spicy
Oath of Love Paladin x Warlock who is in love with their Patron
My favourite is the oath of asians
THANK YOU! I've been saying this for years! Like for example, what if you have an Oathbreaker that literally breaks their oath and turns away from an evil god? Are they still evil then? And saying that they should instead switch their class to something like Oath of Redemption doesn't hold up if they don't make another oath, but they just wanna improve themselves on their own. Or, heck, what if Oath of Redemption is someone trying to redeem themselves in the eyes of an evil god?
Overall, trying to restrict paladins to a specific alignment is stupid and I hate it. Thank you for encapsulating my feelings into a nearly 26-mins long video❣
My paladin was lawful good and my oath was, to burn every red hair woman because they eat souls – to summ up after 20 minutes my party was dead.
But in my defense: I did not know, that one in my party was a girl with red hair.
Go in
"But what about… love?"
YESYESYESYESYESYES
IM SO IN
I just don't play paladins because I'm not much of a half caster XP now I gotta make a cleric love subclass e……e
I play a satyr paladin sorcerer multiclass (oath of ancients7/divine soul 5 when we finished) who’s ancestry was a god of indulgence so he fought for the right to party.
The Love Paladin bouta be giving these bards a run for their money, WHAT!? Even though I had my fingers crossed that you were going to give us the penultimate edgelord dark paladin oath, this actually looks like a lot of fun, and I might have to roll one up, take the shield bash feat and live my Naofumi Shield Hero dreams!
This dude clipped Drakengard, enough said.
