  1. As a Philly fan I have to wonder why the HC/OC don't realize what a weapon SWIFT is!!! But I wonder if the orders to play certain players comes down from the GM/Owner, Howie Roseman/Jeff Lurie!!! It's clear As hell that there's a disconnect between the players and coaches, esp after Siriani was caught blowing up on De'Vontae Smith or some one!!! I think the players dislike the scheme or something the coaches or Siriani are doing and it's throwing them off their game!!! I will also say that Hurts isn't helping by scrambling out of the pocket early, esp if he sees the blitz coming, that doesn't give the receivers enough time to adjust so it's a wasted play which happens a few times a game on top of the bad decisions Hurts has also made

  2. Perna–as a Raider fan, I really appreciate your understanding of our fanbase ("spicy in a different kind of way," well said lol). I actually like the Broncos fanbase way more than the Chiefs (maybe the Chargers will have fans one day?) for the exact reason you mentioned. Let's dethrone the Chiefs!

  3. Earlier Hey guys, I don't know if you read the comments much. But think about this with the raiders. This isn't McDaniel's at all. This is John Ruden's built. The team and Josh McDaniels destroyed the offense in one-off season. Thank how much better they would have been with Derrick. Carr, and they're tight and they got rid of Waller. Just think how much better the raiders would have been right now. John gruden was building a winning team and because they got impatient and may. John gruden leave McDaniels, messed up the offense. Now they gotta rebuild it.
But just think how much better they would have been if they kept gruden. This year, they would have been a Super Bowl contender if they still had John gruden and personally, I think gruden was not treated fairly. I think the owner orchestrated that whole deal to get him to quit because he wanted a Brady type team instead of lends him to his thing, which he hired him to do. I'll be cause John bruden said no I do not want Tom Brady and I agree. He did not need tomber, but he wanted to build something for the future. That's why you sign him for 10 years and the raiders blew it. Now we'll see in the off-season if they can get the right coach. The right GM and rebuild that office again without destroying the desense. But they just messed up their team for another couple of years. We'll see what happens.

  5. watching that game monday, lamar doesn't deserve mvp in my opinion. the only reason the ravens won was because the niners offense couldn't score points, due to their own incompetency and the ravens defense being the best in the league. the ravens offense couldn't really do anything special until the niners defense started to suffer from being on the field so much.

if mvp goes to a quarterback this year (which it will) it should be josh allen. as a niners fan i still have hope that purdy can redeem himself these next two weeks, but i think he lost it in the eyes of most voters.

and if by some miracle it goes to a skill player, it should be cmc. he was the only player in a niners jersey to not have a moment where you look at him and say "holy shit, wtf are you doing" (kittle also didn't really have any moments like that but he was never in the mvp convo anyway)

  6. As a long time Seahawks fan I agree about Russ in the pocket, but i would add that though he can do some amazing things while scrambling he always seems to give up on finding any open receivers downfield as soon as he starts running. Once he does run for few plays he kinda gets warmed up and i think it actually helps his passing game.

  7. Interesting thing about Joe Flacco is that he transferred to Delaware from Pittsburgh cause he wanted to start while he was in college. He didn't expect that he would play football after college so he wanted to enjoy it. I wouldn't be surprised if suddenly being out of the NFL shocked him and now that he has another shot at it he's making sure he makes the most of it.

  8. It's amazing that people forgot that Lamar was a restricted free agent, which makes sense why teams weren't going for him. Put in all the work just for the Ravens to match and get nothing out of it
