Worst loss… so far
WCE – Worst coaching performance as well as the worst player effort of the season (so far).
Schoey, can you ask Simmo in your weekly chat whether he considered going man on man at any stage, given how easily Freo were chipping and handballing through the (sorry excuse for) zone defense?
It was terrible coaching to just sit there and staunchly back "the process" rather than implementing any changes that might have prevented another humiliating loss. These mental scars will be with players (and members!) long after Simmo is gone.
I can’t believe they dished up that for the derby. After starting really well I don’t understand why they let it happen. Worst loss to Freo ever and worst loss of the season for me. Taking a step backwards after a good couple of weeks.
I reckon AFL need to look at the puffer situation, as we don't want Puffer-gate. Colds and flus spread among footy teams all the time. Very rarely do players miss games. Lots of footballers have asthmatic issues. I reckon the AFL really need to go on a massive education program on players on that, and particularly target those asthmatic. I reckon there could be quite a few players going over the limit accidentally all year. We don't want players being bannd for mistakes.
The Hoff… was it a big story? I don't think so. But Cornes teed off on it. He slammed the club for it.

West Coast are the worst football team I've seen in my 50yrs of watching football. Even Subiaco in the early 80s had more fight in them.
I remember freo dishing up 1 of those 100 point defeats to Collingwood at subi..

When the season is a right off who cares if it is a 1 point or 100 points, if it is against Freo or the ladder leaders a loss is a loss ? It is just about finishing bottom now and getting the best pick possible , especially with the current nmb 1 up for grabs. Sure you can argue they need to be more competitive , but a win now would truly be a wasted season !
Freo was always going to belt the Eagles , if I was a Freo supporter I would feel more disappointment with a wasted season rather than what I feel as an Eagles supporter.
